Assassin's Creed Mirage: Basim - The Master Assassin

  • How seamless the modern internet is. Lots of people aren't old enough to remember how painful dialup was. Webpages and images took a long time to load. I'd open a video and pause it waiting for it to load so I can watch it in one go. If I wanted to play a flash game I would just go do something else for 15 minutes while it loads.

Oh and splitters were really uncommon so whenever someone picks up the phone, the internet would stop working. People don't know the pain of downloading something for 3 hours and then shouting to your parents to not pick up the phone.

Now clicking something would load it almost instantly. How cool is that?

  • If you're going to do AI stuff you have to go with Nvidia. AMD is quite bad at it and in some cases doesn't support some technologies like Stable Diffusion at all.

I'd recommend a 3070 at least. You'll need the vram.

  • Click on the username on the top right --> settings --> scroll down and there should be a setting on which sort you want to set as default.

Don't forget to scroll down and hit "save" after you're done.

  • I'm for blocking Threads. I'm not for blocking instances that support Threads. That's ridiculous, you'd just split the community and make the Fediverse irrelevant.

  • I didn't say we should harass admins, I'm saying it's up to us as a community to either move to an instance that defederates or if you know what you're doing, stay on an instance that does federate and don't add content to Threads. Lurking is okay, but posting there means you're adding value to them and taking away from local communities and slowly rendering other instances irrelevant.

It bothers me that after leaving for-profit social media, a lot of people here are totally fine going straight back to them. Have we really learned nothing?

  • I disagree with this. You're saying we should watch Meta invade and profit off the fediverse and do nothing? Just because it's an open standard doesn't mean we should watch and let it happen, defederating is retaliation. The fediverse isn't going to succeed by people doing nothing and watching others ruin it.

We've seen this happen. Many times. If the fediverse admins are going to repeat the mistakes of other standards then it's going to slowly get worse until people do another standard and do it all over again.

  • Not realistic, they'd make very random gem numbers to confuse people as much as possible.

"Buy 295 gems for $4, or for a limited time get 699 gems for $10! Subscribe now for 295 gems a week for one month! Recharge your tweet limit for only 365 gems!"

  • The bot definitely posts a ton of links per hour. I don't have it subscribed but I do check in every now and then.

  • It works for me on the website, I'm not sure if mobile apps play nice with links. If I messed up the formatting hopefully someone that knows more can tell me what's wrong

  • In my experience the Flatpack version causes more issues than it fixes. Try installing it through Nobara's package manager instead (I think Nobara uses dnf?)

I don't use Nobara though so someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

  • I'm gonna miss his videos but the man really earned his vacation. Best of luck to him.

  • Armored Core 6 and Remnant 2! A lot of games like Hades 2 and Hollow Knight silksong don't have release dates so... Maybe this year?

  • This is a great sale, I'm a bit jealous that I own everything I want lately. Some highlights:

    • Ori Will of the Wisps for $8
    • CrossCode for $6
    • Hollow Knight for $7.5
    • Monster Train + DLC for ~$13
    • Mortal Kombat 11 for $5
    • Little Nightmares 2 for $10
    • Oxygen Not Included for $8.5
    • Control Ultimate Edition for $10
    • Devil May Cry 5 for $10
    • Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition for $5
  • From what I hear it's actually in a good state now.

  • Some people want to follow Reddit content without opening it. You can block the bot posting these if it's annoying. I did that and never saw it again.

  • Super Mario Maker and Mario Kart 8 are pretty kid-friendly and you don't really need to understand the language after you find the play button.

  • Welcome to Egypt. You were being scammed and people will often try to do that to you. Research local prices before buying anything
