(And if it's a website that existed for a long time, it usually shows up)
I don't know if anyone remembers it, but Twitter actually had dislike as experimental feature for some users for some time before Elon, I think like 2 or 3 years ago, I remember having it on one of my accounts
Actually that's a golden idea, I haven't even thought about that, would love to see some software on here implementing a downvote cap, also crushing downvoted comments could be a better way instead of hiding them

For some of these languages there was no machine translation before that at all

IMHO much better integration with the rest of the Fediverse, it supports note type activity (posts without a title, thus supporting most of the Fediverse), it supports adding tags (#hashtags) to threads, it also supports boosting posts and a few more things like that
To the whole Fediverse, just to it's microblogging side, and you can't follow users on Lemmy, so you can't opt in, but I have this account bridged and it's running on mbin
@threelonmusketeers@sh.itjust.works Both of these instances use mbin, there's pretty much no instances left on kbin except kbin.social, almost all instances migrated to mbin
