I don’t think your CC company needs a browser plugin to track your spending habits, since they are, y’know, making the payments for you… They already have all the info they need on your spending habits. Heck, my bank even gives me a neat budget overview of how I spend my money and where.

The endoscopists at our childrens hospital also echoed that magnets are a super common foreign body ingestion, any two magnets swallowed is a huge hazard with a high potential for lifelong consequences. And the little balls are supposedly the worst as they have a small surface area in addition to being fairly strong, so they cause perforations quickly.
Also warnings on a magnet box or other toys will be ignored far more commonly that on household chemicals. I don’t know any people who keep bleach on their office desk, and even then it is in a childproof bottle. But many will have these little magnet balls on full display or somewhere a child can reasonably reach, some parents give these to inapropriately aged kids to play with even. Nobody gives a bottle of bleach for their kids to play with.

If it is new, assuming a relatively recent CPU and adequate RAM, it hardly matters.
Sleep schedule is probably what you want fixed, there are a multitude of things to aid, in addition to the aforementioned it is also vital to have sleep hygiene if you have problems with sleep.
Sleep hygiene is a lot of things, but the main things:
- The bedroom and, most crucially, your bed is for sleeping, if you have a habit of scrolling or watching videos etc in your bed, it will be a lot harder for your brain to be like “well, im in bed now, guess ill sleep”.
- Destimulation period before bed, 30-60 minutes before bed get rid of stimulating activity. Some light reading could be okay, better would be meditation, some conversation, a slow walk.
- Sleep environment - blackout curtains, low noise or white noise (substitute sounds could be wind, rain, ocean, but not music or generally other sounds)
- Actually rigid schedule, especially for bedtime, but also wake-up time.
- Got into bed at the time but not sleepy? No screens, no reading. Darkness and your mind - meditate, count sheep, fantasise, think up a novel. Personally i love meditating on the actual process of my mind falling asleep.
- Consider short term melatonin to adjust to a sleep schedule or to change a sleep schedule.
Idk about that attitude though, maybe I am lucky but I have been just a few steps above homelessness before and I still don’t consider life particularly hard, in fact for the most part I would call it fairly easy.
For the cheaper end, Koss is a great point to jump on, KSC 75, Porta Pro (these are my go to for moving around, including running in the rain) and Kph 30i are all great options. Worth noting that these will not provide much in the way of isolation, they are relatively open.
There are also pretty good cheap in-ear options (IEM), but i will not comment on these as I absolutely despise this form factor, personally.
For a potential endgame, with a price bump, you can look to something like Sennheiser HD560s. These are what I use at home, they are a great all-rounder, by reproducing the sound spatially very well, which is amazing for gaming, but also immersive for music and movies. For music (well, sound in general, of course) they are what is known as neutral, so they do not excentuate particularly any part of the frequency curve, they reproduce music roughly as-mixed, with great resolution of individual instruments, in my experience they really make the vocals pop.
Its the backing up books / movies / shows / games I do not fully get tbh., to me it feels a bit like digital hoarding.
Like if its a rare item that you struggled to get - I can see it, kind of.
The amount of things I have wanted to ever rewatch / reread is absurdly small. I can think of a singular book, maybe a few movies and a couple shows (and those really for a lack of alternatives that I have not seen).
Im actually not sure if this is important, but I know hyprland has a different xdg portal, so there is that, then I have a dual monitor setup with different refresh rates and last I checked X was a pita to set up for that (to work correctly).
Like could I actually just install some Xorg DE / WM and send it? Possibly would be as easy as grabbing something from AUR / pacman and relogging, but doing it right from hyprland and with my specific setup is dubious. Then there is the question of actually having to use Xorg to play one specific game.
In the end it is more effort than I am willing to put into troubleshooting a game I will probably not actually finish.
I just refunded the stanley parable because I couldn’t easily get it to work on my arch system. Though I suspect the fault lies somewhere between hyprland and wayland, as I tried all other fixes I could dig up, but I can’t easily get X on my system to test, so I just ended up requesting a refund.
Apart from that things have just worked. Funny how a title that is supposed to run native is one that gave me a headache (proton also just flat out refused to launch it).

I actually used to have a pretty big music collection back in the day, but these days I cba to maintain my own music, so I just let that go with the wind at some point. Really now I am even too lazy to have my own playlists on my Youtube Music, so I mostly opt for the algorithm playlists / radio playlists or just full albums.
I just have my photos, that are on the cloud, yes, as they are all taken by phone. I hadnt considered needing a backup for those, and I am not sure I will, but it is an idea. I mostly take them to share with people, I am not really the type of person to go back and look at photos. Nothing else that feel worth backing up.
I used to hoard various files like work stuff, uni materials etc, but time and time again I find I never go back to them, so I don’t really keep stuff like that anymore.
I would add that a pair of good ones is a world of difference for everything you might use them for - music, gaming, movies. Now good != expensive, good headphones can be had for under 50 bucks, great headphones for around 100-200, anything beyond that you are venturing into audiophile waters with very diminishing returns.
It was a genuine question tbh. I mean, I have a family with kids and I am a few years out of higher education (technically still in uni, as residency in my country is still university), I still feel no need to keep a physical backup, maybe backing up the photos would be an idea.
What are you all backing up? My SSD is just my OS, some programs and Steam, a fresh install without a backup has me back up and running in about 2 hours.
Or actifed, that one is OTC in my country, though expect to sleep due to the added tripolidine.

I checked through the links, and what I did find, besides the childrens magnets is that 1/4 of the magnets were small magnet balls, so it is not like it is an uncommon thing. If magnets are ingested they can cause serious surgical emergencies, which will lead to having to cut out part of the intestines as well as potentially cause peritonitis, the surgery will have lifelong consequences, it is of course also possible to die from complications. And small powerful magnets cause the most damage.
Generally the only other foreign body that is as bad to ingest as small magnets are batteries.
Regarding the warnings - Ill say it again, noone really reads those , everyone I have known with the balls has had them on full display without safety. People for solid things like this just look at the warnings and go, well duh its a choking hazard. And then of course theres the classic reasoning of but my kid is smarter.
Is the CPSC right? I mean, their reason stands solid, their response maybe disproportionate. That said I think the idea that the magnet industry somehow wronged the CPSC is a bit conspiratorial.
Also I would not classify drugs as household chemicals, hence why I chose bleach as my example. The other really bad offender for household chemicals used to be 70% vinegar, but that one was banned in the EU, so now we can only buy 9% which will not cause more than an upset stomach generally, most other common household chemicals will not be as bad and many of them still have childproof locks.
