  • Electric cars sound great, it just sucks that they are all luxury vehicles right now. Like there’s no $3000 used electric car out there for regular people to buy. Hell there isn’t even a new $20k electric car.

Most people won’t do mass transit because they’ve been socialized to see it as gross. And it is gross. In my town there are always crazy people riding the bus harassing the driver because they are lonely, and the bus smells like pee. And the bus never gets you there faster than a car, so why ever ride it.

  • They really need to fix their messaging and how the media talks about inflation.

Inflation isn’t low, it’s very high. The inflation RATE is back down to reasonable levels, but you can’t ever get rid of inflation without some policies that have very very very low support.

  • Oh yeah raping people at music festivals is the best way ever to resist oppression.

You know, I remember when MLK raped people at music festivals. Same with Gandhi. That’s actually how the USA got independence from England; they picked a music festival in England, killed some people there, raped some, killed them too, and paraded their corpses around.

  • Unironically, as long as it doesn’t negatively affect my portfolio, I stand by anything that helps working people like me. Strong unions built this country and there’s no reason auto stocks can’t continue to prosper with a strong UAW.

All we need to do is bomb the rest of the world into the Stone Age like in WW2, so that they have no recourse but to buy our industrial goods, and we can have a strong and unionized workforce just like in the 50s-70s.

  • I was making the point that “your car is spying on you” probably isn’t true for a huge section of people, since there are lots of 10-15 year old cars on the road.

Also, older cars are much more repairable than people consider. We just have a huge economic infrastructure set up around having the “next best thing”.
