Trump voters say president’s tariffs are major red flag for them: new poll

A recent poll reveals that many of Donald Trump's voters have reservations about his tariff policies, especially those targeting China.
Only half of Trump voters surveyed believe that his tariffs on China will ultimately benefit US companies.
Roughly one in four Trump voters expressed concerns that the tariffs are damaging the US's ability to negotiate trade agreements with other nations.
Trump's supporters are nearly evenly split on whether he should require Congressional approval to impose tariffs or if he should possess the sole authority.
While 46 per cent of Trump voters support tariffs on China even if they lead to higher domestic prices, a quarter of them also think these tariffs are detrimental to US companies.

Oh fuck off with this click bait nonsense. The "poll" by politico was just 1200 people who self identified as trump supporters. 25% said they believe Trump's tariffs will hurt American businesses while 63% said they think his tariffs will help American businesses.
There is no such thing as trump supporters turning on him. This is a lie being fabricated in front of your eyes. I want to see the fascist taken down as badly as anyone, but lies like this help noone.

  Leading up to the election, they really could not make a single politically wise decision to save their lives. They doubled down on out of touch rich people as their base, and are only tripling down now. Despite left wing politicians doing well while centrists languished, they think that a more feudal future where the poors have died or can't vote will save them. The No Kings protests reached about 2%, and his popularity is still going down. If he were smart, he'd be extremely worried about that.
