I had to stop reading this 1/3 of the way through, because it’s 4:30 in the morning and I was afraid I was gonna get really scared

I am determined to remake The Final Countdown. Except in my version, the battle the whole movie builds up to actually fucking happens in the movie, and 45 F18s and F35s absolutely fuck up 353 Japanese fighters in an epic battle. Then the American aircraft carrier captain chooses not to go back through the wormhole, and stays in 1941, and uses modern technology and knowledge to improve the world. Also the song “The Final Countdown” is in the movie.

At age 46 I’m more smarter than them now than I ever used to be. They do literally 93% of things incorrectly, yet are convinced of the opposite, and that they are always the smartest people in the room.

If all these giant agricultural corporate concerns are so worried about money, which of course they are, maybe they should get their exorbitantly paid lobbyists to start pressuring their elected representatives to stop Trump from illegally implementing all these bullshit tariffs.

I sincerely hope any of this makes a positive difference

It used to be that there were consequences for fuckery like this. Congressional hearings, firings, resignations, getting blackballed from employment, and even impeachments. Now, it’s just another day with this inept and evil administration, and everyone just shrugs their shoulders.
