Gelatine
It is so disturbing that so many companies have been macabre enough to slip powdered bones into a product marketed at children.
It’s a good source of calcium. /s
Lol, nobody is eating candy for the calcium, and there are better sources.
I've always thought it was a very modern horror story how sweets for children are made from gelatin, from animal death, basically.
I still eat them though.

But... there's no gelatin in bones. Doesn't it come from the tendons and stuff next to the bones?
From a brief look up, it appears to be derived from collagen which is acquired from mostly skin and bones, of mostly cows and pigs.
After a wee bit of reading, bones are indeed one of the major sources. They just dissolve the calcium with acid and then can boil the collagen away. What clever little buggers.
But worms don't have tendons. OP, can you please update the meme?
It's good to see more and more vegan candy being sold. These days I've even come to expect it. When it isn't advertised on the packaging I check the ingredients and more often than not I see they are in fact vegan.
It's been awesome to see how it went from something you had to go to vegan only stores or order online to now when it's the norm, now it's just checking every kind you buy because a few still have animal products in them but as you said, it's mostly vegan. It's just non-dark chocolate that's normally not vegan now, and I don't expect that to change.
Sometimes you miss the taste of hooves, but I'm with you
In Germany we have Katjes brand gummies that now have a whole lot of good vegan types of gummies.
Delete this right now 😡
No I'm eating gummy worms and it's making me hungrier
They'll have more bone in them once I get my hands on some 😏
The bones are their money...
...our local grocer stocks vegan gummies; sadly they're not very good...
Yeah, it's supposed to have bones. That's why we don't eat actual worms!
Worm eating the powdered bones of a dead animal: Am I a joke to you?
