  • If you want to go Intel, I'd say wait for the B700 series. The B500 series has proven a decent budget gaming card, but the 9060 XT is a solid midrange card and will be a lot faster than any B500 card.

  • I think my face scrub still has these. But I would have to check, it might be just sand they put in there. Works great tho.

Edit - I checked, the ingredients say it's silica. So yes, they put sand into it.

  • It's good to see more and more vegan candy being sold. These days I've even come to expect it. When it isn't advertised on the packaging I check the ingredients and more often than not I see they are in fact vegan.

  • I think they meant people don't know how these models work in practice. On a theoretical level they are well understood. But in practice they behave in a chaotic way (chaotic in the math sense of the word). A small change in the input can lead to wild swings in the output. So when people want to change the way the models acts by changing the system prompt, it's basically impossible to say what change should be made to achieve the desired outcome. And often such a change doesn't even exist, only something that's close enough is possible. So they have to resort to trial and error, trying to tweak things like the system prompt and seeing what happens.

  • I humbly reserve the right to give you a hug, if you'd consent, for all you did for us. Also I would like your permission to kick you in the balls for this "announcement". If your biology doesn't allow for that, don't worry, I've got a magic spell that can give you balls just long enough for me to kick them.

    Just kidding, love you <3

  • Nah that article is about Venus being in a weird position where you can both see it around sunset and sunrise, usually it's one or the other. Venus visible at noon is a no-go except in something like a solar eclipse or a high altitude balloon or something.

It is possible to spot Venus during the day, if it's further away from the Sun (as viewed from Earth). It is bright enough to be visible during the day (just like the Moon and even the ISS and Jupiter under the right conditions), but is usually very close to the sun so it's completely blown out. When it is further from the Sun, it's a very noticeable crescent shape. So I doubt anyone would mistake it for a balloon, especially someone who has the job of watching the skies for such things.

And come to thing of it, how large did they think it was and how accurate can they shoot at long range with a boat? Even if it was a balloon, you wouldn't attack it from range right? You would wait for it to come closer and hit it with anti aircraft shells. It's just a very weird story.
