When we microwave in our house we say we're going to "zap it". What do you say?

We say to 'nuke it'.
So it'll be like oh I got to nuke this pizza for a minute.
- i think this is the only correct response. everyone else is operating outside SOP
- I only heard that term when I moved to the Midwest. One of many odd things they say.
- And we do it with the nukrawave.
Heat it up in the microwave.

We say "giv den en tur i mikrobølgen" meaning "give it a ride in the microwave"

Why are questions from the other commhnity always copy pasted here?

Nuke it
Either "heat it up in the microwave" or "throw it into the microwave."
I say it like this.
'mike it' or 'nuke it'.
Outside of the more usual “microing” (not in English though, sounds a bit wonky in English but less so in our language), we do use “nuking” a lot.
Blast it
Blast it.
Put it in the cooking box.
I'm in the zap it gang, but I think I've used nuke it occasionally too.
