Ted n me went on an adventure to the park. He found sitting down to be easiest. He loved looking at all the birds tho some did not like him, he sniffed the sniffs and watched ducks swimming and people and cars on the busy streets but he was glad to be home and sat up once we got back to our little courtyard

- His eyes were as big as saucers when we got home and I got him out the stroller. He also tried to bite me but that's normal.

Little Old Dog was sedated on Monday for Xrays and is still quite wobbly. He’s a little more lost than usual (this morning he got stuck between a bookcase and a wall in an area of the house he rarely ventures to), so it’s time to Senile Dog proof the house. Poor littlest love!

So the results are.. nothing 😒No Buruli Ulcer but no anything else either. Doctor wants to just hand ball me to specialist. I showed him pictures I'd taken and said is it likely to be a form of Pityriasis. He agreed it could be, but said he wouldn't like to guess. Funny, he didn't mind guessing it was Impetigo and had me take antibiotics for a week while I was petrified I had an infectious disease. I said seeing as I've been using cortisone on it and it's helping, can I get a script for more (I'm using miniest's tube and it's almost ran out) and he ummed and ahhed about that and said that because he wasn't sure what it was he didn't really want to prescribe anything. As for the specialist, $365 is absolutely no dice. It's just not doable. It's already cost me a day's pay for this.

It isn't psoriasis is it? That responds to cortisone (I think) and is caused by everything from simple stress to other shitty diseases. If you send me a pic I can see if it looks like my psoriasis lol I think you still have my mobile number.
The Dr prolly is hesitant to prescribe cortisone without knowing what it is, as cortisone can make it worse. But if it's helping... 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm sorry that it's so expensive. It fucking sucks how much a specialist can be, when not covered by insurance or Medicare. Ugh.

Fair enough, but unfortunately I don't think the crowd got on their side because of that interruption to the show and their yelling and anger towards Thom Yorke. Crowd actually felt quite tense until the protester decided to leave the venue. Just seemrd like an odd choice by the protester. Buy a ticket then wait until the final encore acoustic song to have their have their say in such an aggressive manner and tone....
I don't know where she got the idea that Radiohead weren't huge before 1997. That was the year Ok Computer was released, and that's about as big as Radiohead got.

Day off for uni, working from home, trying not to have a total wobble over feeling like maybe this was all a mistake. I'm in too deep now! But as I get older I certainly find myself craving security over novelty and excitement. Kinda sad because I feel like I am shrinking as a person. It's not too late to claw back a sense of wonder and discovery though.

- You're right about life and phases, I do sometimes think that our trajectories are fixed but they don't have to be, although age is certainly something I can't ignore.
  It would be nice to have had this period of huge instability after I got through this hurdle, but c'est la vie. I may be very far from finding housing stability but least I have a lot more of a fallback than I used to. Namely the right to live here permanently.
The stakes are higher now than when I was young, now homelessness is a very real possibility for many.
- yes, the time spent travelling and exploring is now time "wasted" on not getting secure housing. It's getting harder to catch up

First the generic peanut butter was out of stock for quite a long time, the generic paper cat litter is still unavailable, now it’s the decaf instant coffee and cocoa powder. And the prices are still a gouge.

If it was more possible for me I’d be predominately shopping at Aldi

Plex migration update: Gave up on Debian, installed Mint. Mint installed great, more options in the GUI this looks promising. It wants an update, no worries go for, reboot aaaaaand it no longer boots. You have got to be shitting me linux. Installed windows, replaced plex files and looks to have completely failed. Gave up in frustration and went to bed.

Went to see psych today and they said how I've been masking and it's understandable that I don't know who I am. Literally on session 10. We've done a heap of case formulation, now to finally using the skills.

Wasn't able to do my first aid class last week, but was put into the other class for it this week. In class today and tomorrow so I have to catch up on the theory classes tomorrow, over the weekend.

Very appreciative that they could slot me into this one, so I don't have to pay out of pocket for a private one lol.

And there's nothing more I love than going to campus when it's spring. Thankful my animal course is at the same place they do horticulture. Wandering around the greenhouses and the grounds with all the beautiful plants and flowers, really improves my mental health. So many butterflies, bugs, flowers, buds, the smell of spring. It's just a magical place when it's sunny.

Hope you’re doing ok and are out of whichever dangers affected you. I think the world has lots of problems. But also, there’s lots of things that are better than they used to be. (At least in the western world). Better healthcare, less racism, less homophobia, more awareness of mental health issues, taking domestic violence seriously, etc. I think your nephew is lucky in one aspect - never underestimate how important it can be in a kids life to have a plain speaking uncle/aunt who might tell them about world perspectives their parents may not.

Anyone else bank with ME? Have recently been moved over from ME "classic" to ME Go. It seems to have replaced one buggy app with another buggy app with slightly more features, and the local call centre with a chat+call centre overseas.

It's not really a problem if you rarely need to get in touch with your bank, but if there ever is a problem (which there have been a couple) you can expect to wait 30+ minutes for someone to answer. I guess the fact their interest rates are the best on the market makes up for it?

Nah. I'm with Macquarie. I hate to say it, but they have been great. My homeloan rates seems to be pretty good compared to other folks who didnt lock theres in during better times.

Warlock . I rewatched again, this is such an enjoyable cheesy halloween movie. The costuming, the old english speech and the way all the actors play it real make this much better than you would expect from such a low budget movie
