  • I really enjoyed the stargate movie, but the series was not for me.

I get hard low budget 90s tv feelings from it.

    Possible spoilers below….

They recast two great actors in the movie with people who look and act nothing like they did in the movie. I heard they later joked about it and fixed it, but I couldn’t not get that far

  • It’s more the feeling of satisfaction and less a feeling of pleasure.

Working out is not a pleasurable thing, it’s hard, tiring, and painful.

But you see positive changes in your body, you feel better day to day and you know you are adding years on to your life.

This is what makes it enjoyable. But it will not be like this on day one. It will be like this maybe after 2-4 weeks of doing it consistently.

Also you have to eat right. If your just eating junk you may not feel as good.

  • Absolutely! If I could just run MacOS an an iPad when it has a keyboard and mouse attached, I would get an iPad today. There is literally no reason it cannot do this other than they don’t want it to.

I would be happy to make it my sole computing device. I wouldn’t even mind if it switched to iPadOS once undocked. But as it stands I literally cannot do my work on an iPad.

  • If possible put up a gate and a no trespassers sign. Or a beware of dog, they may second guess entering.

If you do have a no trespassing sign and it doesn’t stop, maybe add another sign that says the police will be called and they will be reported for trespassing if they enter the gate without permission.

You could even add that message to your doorbell.

  • Many years ago I read something that basically stated that the masses would be too poor to be worth selling to.

Because of this, products will be designed for the rich, and they will figure out how to sell to the masses as an afterthought.

The examples they used were gaming with pay to win mechanics. You have a handful of rich people buying all these micro transaction while the masses just play and grind away. Spending a little and hoping to get lucky.

They can’t just sell the game for $200 or else you would only have rich people playing it and that would not be enough for a community of people to play an online game.

  • Just to add, I really hate how mobile operating systems work. They really prevent them from being used more seriously.

I hope “Dex” like abilities become the norm. Clearly, phones can handle most tasks and it could prevent the need of a computer or at the least, be down cycled into a computer for a kid or grandparent.

I have so many old phones laying around that would do fine in some sort of desktop mode for spreadsheets and browsing.

  • I live in a tropical country. It’s always hot and this year has been especially bad.

Well there is this new mall that is kind of underground and the entrance is kind of hide. In the park.

When you go in… DAMN! You are instantly cooler. Every time I go in it is it’s own reward.

It’s also a scent walk from my home but to too far, so you can really relax as you get there.
