It really does seem like it’s one of those. Spend more now and save a lot in the long run.

If it were not for my cracked screen, I would have replaced my battery in my phone and held out for more time.

Additionally, where I live, they want me to leave my phone with them for up to a month while the part comes in.

I can’t go without a phone for a month. I literally use it 7 days a week for work.

Plus the cost of the screen is too much.

If you run for Pope I’d vote for you under the condition that you make all the historical documents digitally available for anyone to view freely.

Well I doubt those works are copyrighted. So I’d just find the text remove any special formatting or characters and look for a printing service.

Why not for ARM handhelds? I don’t think there is anything that handles x86 on arm well outside of Apple. But there are some things on Linux that can do it.

I’ve not personally tried it though. Maybe I will today, I have a spare raspberry pi that’s not doing much.

There is a paper book I wanted to buy, but it’s not an option. I can only find a paper version used that is being sold for like $200.

I’m wanting to buy a steam deck, but I wonder how close they are to releasing an updated version. Is there any indication that they will be doing regular hardware updates on it?

The last time I looked that these phones, they were pretty expensive.

I know they don’t have the same scale to take advantage of mass production, but they were significantly more expensive than a better specced android.

I hope this model is priced a bit better as I typically just get iPhone due to being able to get security updates for a long time and not have a phone that will slow down after just a year or two.

A big reason I skip on android is due to lack of long term updates.

Can you elaborate how this is the case? Im decently unfamiliar with android and these systems.

I know they are both privacy focused, but I don’t know really what sets them apart.

I just can get over the idea locking any person who is not a physical threat to others in a cage. It just seems so inhumane.

Some YouTube benchmarks say there there is no too little difference in game loading time. What sd card did you have before?

I’d buy the condo my wife and I are renting. We really love it and the owner wants to sell it, but our monthly payment would almost triple.

Id also get a modest car, like a Corolla and a house in the countryside.

I guess this is not too wild, so I guess I’d also by a server rack to selfhost random stuff.
