  • Who are the moderators in this scenario you’re talking about?

  • I must’ve read your comment wrong. Sounds like you just want a multi Reddit type feature? I agree that that should be implemented some apps have already did it. I don’t agree that the same word community should be lumped together universally and automatically.

  • The point of me having my own control over my instance. The bad moderator thing will always be a problem.

  • Blocking is far better on the VPN routing level then bothering with a browser extension.

  • Which ones are you needing? For Adblock I block using VPN, similar to setting up a pihole. I’ve found replacements for most of what I do use elsewhere. Some working even better then the desktop counterparts.

  • What was that last or current feature you’re missing out on and what’s the use case?

  • I haven’t had problems. I would just like to be educated on what I’m missing out on.

  • Thanks. Do you have an example of the super weird rendering? Also are none of what you’re saying here togglable in the WebKit Feature Flags to mess around with bleeding edge features?

  • No, that defeats the entire point.

  • In what ways?

  • Haven’t used Mlem much lately but no I don’t think so. Not in a comment. You’d have to upload in the new post field and copy the url or just upload to a 3rd party like https://thumbsnap.com

  • I understand by today’s standards. Ideally, though this would be how shit would work in my opinion. I’m not talking about now, I’m talking about the future.

  • Used a cotton candy vending machine at the mall with my 4 year old not that long ago.

  • The wireless on iPhones isn’t even proprietary. Hopefully automakers agree on a standard in that regard. Tesla already has one in the works so they’ll probably be first.

  • I know this is all android nerds commenting on something they don’t care about for some reason but my guess would be that by then we’ll just be driving over a pad in our garages and not have to touch anything.

  • Happens on mostly every apple post. Super cringe.

  • Nice, will definitely check it out. Haven’t watched since he left really.

  • Why would anyone be doing that on Lemmy? You’d be doing it where you’d make money/gain popularity and maybe post a link to it on Lemmy somewhere for more exposure.

  • They’ll only get notified if you @ notify them in a comment.
