  • You named the three most hated brands on Lemmy. So are you saying they upvote or downvote these posts? They’re mostly downvoted with disgusting comments and insults to go with them. Along with someone calling another a tankie or some shit in a post where it has no relevance.

  • Yeah I want people to get the message without having to send one.

  • You used a word salad of all the words the most anger ridden posts are filled with. That’s all I was pointing out.

  • Why does the this ignorant speech infest so many threads? No one gives a shit and any keyboard warrior crap you’re doing in your free time isn’t going to change anything going on in the world.

  • I disagree and think it’s fine how it is. I suppose if two want to link that would be fine but you might as well shut one down and move everyone over. People will always flock to whatever’s the more popular one. This could also flip with a competing community with better ideals/moderation/thoughts for engagement. I don’t see how lumping them all together really helps anything.

This definitely isn’t the biggest issue.

  • It comes in waves. I don’t like the overly sensitive crap either though.

  • Yeah. Too many people these days speak in absolutes with no interest in diving into the unknown.

  • The 3 ad trackers are also in that cookie count with jsdelivr. But no it does not break it down into separate sections.

  • Mobile safari even blocked more than this website found.

  • Interesting. I’d like to find what you’re looking for and compare what shows on mine.

  • I thought most of the modern browsers had this ability built in?

  • What do you mean by the question? It’s a science/nature based instance.

  • Example? What community is it being posted in is more of the question. Browsing “All” you’re going to see stuff you don’t want to see depending on your blocks and what your instance has blocked. Also browsing “Local” on .world is practically like browsing “All” with how massive it is. It’s not common for Lemmings to browse by local. There’s quite a lot of instances with very few communities.

  • As in you upgraded from a previous Lemmy? More than likely your database is migrating and it can take a while. ~30 minutes or more depending on your server.
