  • but the US had enough to fund a Democrat versus Republican election that cost over a billion dollars that in four years will have nothing to show that justifies the spending other than the corporations that are going to come out well because of the bought politicians and judges

  • the people who are directly affected by the laws and policies of the Democrats/Republicans in their daily lives are not having a cool fun time with the bread and circuses

  • disappointing stance? it is the exact same response as Trump

strictly controlled closed borders with no clear path to citizenship

  • yes, she has given strong lip service to women's rights, but the Democrats have always done that with everything

lip service with no plans or intent

  • why? we all know what it would be like

Harris: restrictive immigration policies, no upping the federal minimum wage to a livable wage, less workers' rights, less women's rights, more fracking/oil and blames all the Democrat party's shortcomings on the Republicans

Trump: restrictive immigration policies, no upping the federal minimum wage to a livable wage, less workers' rights, less women's rights, more fracking/oil and blames all the Republican party's shortcomings on the Democrats

  • US relies more on faith based and volunteer help than a third world country while corporations get tax breaks and corporate welfare

  • Why haven’t Democrats embraced economic populism? Because for too long they’ve drunk from the same campaign funding trough as the Republicans – big corporations, Wall Street, and the very wealthy.

    US two-party sham needs replacing

  • because the elites write the checks for all the Democrat/Republican politicians in Washington including hers and the justices on the supreme court

it is the elite's interests running the country not the citizens

  • when "I am not Trump." is the only requirement to be president this is what we end up with

two-party sham that shackles the people and supports war

  • as much as history will remember their loudest slogan

    I am not Trump.

  • filtered masks on jobsites with particles is still not a hard requirement, pay is not keeping up with the cost of living, no universal healthcare

    welcome to the US

  • in the US it is better to bleed out than to call 911

much worse here than the media is making it out to be with both the Democrats and the Republicans being bought they make sure nothing changes because people papered are easier to track and control

once arrested in the US charged or not you are now in the system marked/tagged and ready for exploitation for the remainder of your life

US never got over losing the free labor force it once had and now megacorps look to prisons for free labor and after incarceration cheap underpaid workers that have less rights

  • $15 an hour will not afford you housing, food, and healthcare

  • you mean that $15 an hour Obama wanted 16 years ago that they keep dangling over our heads until we vote for them?

At the same time, we’re pushing to guarantee workers the pay, benefits, and protections they deserve as well. We passed the Butch Lewis Act, keeping over 2 million people’s hard-earned pensions solvent. We also raised the minimum wage for federal contractors to $17.20 an hour, and will keep pushing Congress to increase it to at least $15 for all Americans. We’re making millions more hourly workers eligible for overtime pay; and we’ve cracked down on wage theft and exploitation, recovering over $750 million for low-wage workers wrongly denied pay. We’re making it harder for employers to misclassify workers as independent contractors to avoid paying them full pay and benefits. We’re banning most non-compete agreements, freeing workers to move between jobs and negotiate. And we’ve restricted mandatory arbitration, so fewer employers can silence wronged employees in a workplace dispute

port workers are striking stating $80,000 a year is not enough, and you think $15 will not only cut it today but also buy a house with Harris's plans

  • what good is a fixed amount to buy a house when the minimum wage is still $7.25?

  • my response had nothing to do with "But not Trump." or what Harris's donors have her working towards

Harris did not grow up in a poor, mostly black neighborhood with people that are underpaid, sick from pollution such as local oil/fracking and no healthcare, free from police oppression, an underfunded education system, and instead her politics are akin to someone with an HOA background

should matter that we the citizens have proper representation in our government and is part of the reason our laws/policies do not mirror the citizens

  • her heart is on the right not in the right such as her positions on oil/fracking, right leaning immigration policies, not supporting a modern living wage, pro-police stance

if Harris would have grown up in a predominately black neighborhood with everything that involves down to pollution her platform would be a different story
