  • Imagine calling a house a pod.

  • Iran is a low bar to set, I think we can agree there.

My critique was really against tossing modesty in the trash as if it's completely without value. A man being protective of his womenfolk is also seen as something bad, which is so irrational.

  • I gave you the other end of the extreme, where there is no attention paid to the woman's dignity.

The reason I brought this up was because it is something that I have seen be applauded. No one said, "hum, maybe we shouldn't let women be in a vulnerable position in front of tyrannical cops".

If you don't see an issue here, then you can't really claim to care about the dignity of women, and that says something about you.

  • But there is still pressure, otherwise a woman would not have been driven to go to the street to protest nude.

  • People think differently. Just because you don't see yourself being content with wearing a full veil on a sunny beach does not mean that another woman can't be.

  • She should be like those lefty heroines who get arrested naked by the police.

  • Can someone explain what "react native" is?

  • "I may be vertically challenged, but I am horizontally gifted. Rawr!"

  • Maybe they were going to play after finishing up the dishes?

This shitty interpretation says more about the person making the "meme" than the artist who created the original ad.

  • We all age and die. What matters is what we do with our lives.

  • In short, this is some BS tweet (and blatant propaganda) that seemingly has no actual science backing it.

Firstly, no source was provided to back up his claim about female suicide rates. The Statista link from this comment suggests that he is talking out of his ass.

Secondly, that alone would not have been enough to establish a causative relation (no fault divorce => less female suicides). Because correlation does not equal causation.

  • That's primarily the responsibility of men. Even if some women are involved.

  • There are always going to be bad men trying to commit aggression, so one should be grateful that there are other men who counter that.

If you want to turn this into a man-problem, then why stop there? You might as well turn this into a human-problem. Turning this into a gender issue rather than focusing on the bad people specifically, is an arbitrary (and toxic) way of framing the issue.

  • Yes, women need men. Who is primarily fighting in Ukraine? Who was forced to stay and who was allowed to leave? Answer: The men had to stay to fight while women and children were allowed to evacuate the country.

Defense is just one example of what men do for women.

You don't need no man until you do.

    Don't be toxic, be grateful.
