    • 9001 virtual currencies to mask the actual cost of everything
    • Mystery RNGs everywhere
    • Muh behavioral psychology
    • More manipulative shit

Parents need to do their fucking jobs.

These gaming companies (parasites) need to lose all their IP protections.

  • I don't understand how that relates to what I just said.

  • Tate doesn't.

He never said he supported Tate.

He also never said misandry should be countered with misogyny.

He pointed out that misandry is the other side of the same coin as misogyny, maybe so that you can see the issue with OPs gender war slop.

His position has been consistently that both are bad.

    Don't straw man him.

  • No need for coddling, just be quiet. It's not a big ask.

Ever heard the saying "If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all"?

  • Making the blanket statement that anyone who believes male loneliness is an issue that in parts is outside of their control, is a clown, has nothing to do with introspection. It's a rude, unemphatic, misandric statement that has no constructive properties.

  • Hopefully they will find better jobs with better employers.

For everyone who uses Windows, try Linux. Don't be scared to try something new, most things that are worthwhile come with some sacrifice. Sometimes, if we don't leave our comfort zone, we miss out.

I will provide a small guide, but there are tons of resources on the internet.

See the ranking on the right hand side here: https://distrowatch.com/ You can pick something from there on the top of the list.

Watch YouTube to learn more about each Linux distro that you find interesting.

I personally would recommend Ubuntu or Ubuntu-based distros, as they have the widest support.

You don't have to wipe your Windows-installation completely, instead you can dual-boot. This allows you to pick Windows or Linux when you start your computer. If you feel comfortable switching entirely, you can wipe out Windows and keep Linux exclusively.

Just be careful when you partition your drive, don't accidentally overwrite your Windows installation (if that's not what you want to do). Make a backup copy of your most important files on a separate external drive before the installation.

  • Because our priorities are wrong

  • “In Quebec, we made the decision that state and the religion are separate,” said Education Minister Bernard Drainville

What is religion anyway? Worshiping men (politicians) is okay, but worshiping Allah is not?

As someone else pointed out, even from a liberal pov, this is wrong as it is anti-freedom and anti-personal autonomy. Women should have the right to choose what to wear according such a philosophy. Using the unconvincing loophole of "but they were forced to wear hijab" to turn this into something pro-freedom/pro-autonomy hardly changes that fact.

It's a dangerous path to take, as these politicians will not only step on Muslims' rights, but also set a precedent that the government (a few elites) can dictate when people are wearing too much. It also undermines the entire notion of protecting women's rights.

Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID) should have been a red flag that Canada's rulers are mildly deranged along with being morally bankrupt.

  • Unless you eat pizza like this moron

    It's a red flag

  • I made a mistake. It wasn't a profile banner.

  • Ops. It's not a profile banner, but a post.

I was talking about the image of women hurting men.

  • It feels unrealistic. Remember EU's DMA which targeted Apple's app installation restrictions? That Act still has done nothing of value and Apple has so far given the EU a middle finger. Isn't open sourcing Tesla a much bigger ask?

Laws must be enforceable, otherwise what's the point...

  • With enough oversight, I can buy the safety part. Without rigid oversight, you may end up with self-igniting batteries. When it comes to security, America is a low bar.

There is also an ethical component to the critique of Chinese goods in general, which concerns the CCPs actions and policies. Let's not ignore that.

My point was, China is not better than the US. I'm sure Canada can do better than that, if they cooperate with other countries.

  • Bad idea. China isn't better than the US, and their EVs are a safety and security risk in and of themselves.

I can imagine Canada being in a position to collaborate with friendly countries to develop a safe, secure and open alternative to Tesla and "CCP-mobiles". If that becomes a reality, everyone benefits.

  • Don't lie. When 70% of your search results are Quora, you are going to click, you are going to encounter the login banner, you are going to rage, and you are going to click away.

  • I think people who are content with Reddit being the way it is deserve someone like Spez.
