A few years back I remember there being an Android smartwatch which itself was damn cool (like full Android 4.4), and that also had a camera. Use case? Probably none, but it was there. Their objective was really just fitting a smartphone on your wrist.
Maybe if placed at a good angle and ability to record without much notice on the screen, it could be an emergency bodycam-ish thingy. Probably bottom of the watch, and surely a wide-angle lens.
I wonder where something like Unihertz phones could be. Recently a teardown video of one of those surprised me, and it seems they do quite a few phones that way. They have a bunch of rugged phones, and at least some of them appear to be screwed together rather than glued.
Honestly, I haven't even considered that was a possibility nowadays. Otherwise I'd probably get one of those over Ulefone. Based on videos I've seen, my Armor 24 is virtually irrepairable. You have to enter through the screen which uses very strong glue and is recessed into the body. Disassembly thus basically requires destroying the screen.

In my opinion the last great was Android 7. Just getting more locked down since.
But also it was kinda funny when manufacturers left over some of their software. I think it was ZTE which had a hidden menu to change the fucking IMEI.
I've got Ulefone, and the default audio source (software) is dogshit quality. And that's what the camera app uses, unless I use something like Open Camera where I can manually select "Unprocessed" rather than default.
