Tommy Cat is 10 today. He has had prawns for tea and is now basking in the sun, pretty well satisfied with life.

The new Preston Bunnings sucks. Such a pain to get in and out of. I guess at least it encourages me to go to other hardware stores.

Yep. I applied for a niche job that I'd be perfect for and it closed a week ago, whyyyy haven't they called me? I'm getting a bit better at detaching, something will come up when it's meant to.

If the rain and wind could hold off until say 9pm that'd be great. I'm meant to be doing outdoor cooking with kids this evening.

I have to admit that I'm a non-Vegemite-mite virgin. Vegemite's great and I've never been tempted to stray.

Tights & stockings. They used to get runs in them on the first wear but now they last for years.

But, 0% chance of passing on any disorders to a cat. And fluffy friends definitely make the world better.

I've done mine, but turns out that both the post boxes near home are no longer there. Shows how often I post something & how much attention I pay. I'll drive around with it later until I find one.

I reckon I'm doing well if I can identify the breed, let alone individual bird friends.

I'm grateful for this lovely sunshine that makes everything better. And for volunteer projects that are giving me a bit of purpose and fulfilment while I'm job hunting.

I have a contented cat curled up on my lap, purring. I am getting hungry and and would quite like some lunch. He says that's not his problem. I guess I'm going hungry until His Fluffiness releases me.

It was pissing down hard in Heidelberg but only for 20 minutes or so. It looked like the Bellarine and Mornington got all the extreme stuff.
