When you ain’t got nothing, you got nothing to lose bud. That’s where I’m at in this moment. If I lose every penny I have I’m still poor. If I don’t, maybe I can get a start on a damn house or something.

Well, I guess I won’t need one then. Hardware is a bit older but if I can get the same performance I’ll avoid the windows partition.

Oh yeah, people who need more power definitely want something else. It’s all I need really. I’m about to inherit my daughter’s old gaming laptop though so I’m not sure what I’ll do then. Definitely Linux with a small partition for windows to play some VR games. I’d say I’ll still use the Steam deck for most things though because it’s so portable.

I’ve been docking mine and using it as my primary pc. The only issue I’ve had is that I was able to play CSGO perfectly, and CS2 don’t do so good.

I grew up in an insanely religious community and not only have I heard that phrase, it’s been used on me in an argument I had with someone when I was a teenager.

I heard it constantly. I was taught to say it as a small child when I was scared of the dark. No demons gonna get me. :p

It just made me even more sad for her, because it reminded me of the old ladies from my childhood. It was a phrase used to combat feelings of fear. She was terrified and probably thought she would receive help from the almighty in that moment.

Yeah same here. Like, if I could take a pill or something I’d be down. I ain’t trying to bring plastic and rubber into the equation.

It’s apparently doable, I just can’t imagine putting in the effort.

The other dude (Terry McAuliffe) committed campaign suicide by saying that parents shouldn’t be “telling schools what they should teach”. I agree with him, and I agreed with his further explanations, but I was so mad when he said that during the debate. I knew it was over and I knew he’d lose and therefore I’d lose in my own personal life because of it.

I really do believe that was the moment he lost the election. He was a great governor though and it’s unfortunate he didn’t win.
