  • Wish I had an answer but I have to track on my main Windows PC using Launchbox since they don't have Linux support (it's built on .net, making that very hard). Someone got it working with Wine supposedly, but meh. At least steam is automatic so Deck progress is logged.

It's frustrating since they just released a bunch of useful tracking tools too.

  • My college aged students are still pretty big on FNAF so probably not dated. Ye would be a terrible conversation starter by today's standards, though, even more so than whenever this was made, lol. "So, how to you feel about Nazi sympathisers?"

  • Carbrain is strong, but they're still trying to invest some in public trans. Unfortunately, I saw recently they've been pushing a public Uber alternative as a sort of last step after using a train, which I can't imagine helps.

I kind of understand why-- LA is very spread out. I was told or was because of earthquakes that we couldn't build high but that doesn't seem to be true anymore.

If it's any consolation, we haven't taken the "one more lane" thing too far, there aren't 12 lane freeway monstrosities at least.

  • On the one hand, I can't imagine the county in question has the type of tax revenue to support $500 million, even if they were the type to have change to raise taxes (they're not). On the other hand, situations in which local governments can't afford essentials is exactly when you're supposed to have larger government (Texas, Feds) step in an subsidize, which of course they aren't willing under GoP rule. Meh.

  • Isn't "It's not you, it's me" the ultimate example of parallel sentence structure? Lol

But let's be real, it's more like...

💔 Here's three reasons reasons we're breaking up:

    • Our personalities don't match-- according to (made up citation) people with you type are toxic.
    • Your idiology doesn't match mine-- you don't believe in White South African genocide.
    • We aren't compatible-- our personalities aren't complimentary.

    And so on. Lol

  • No, you do not mix AR and game genie but there is a distinct absence of anything Gameboy camera/printer attachment so it's clearly incomplete. I'd also suggest the attachment reading lamp, but I think if that magnifying attachment comes with a light that works, too. Not sure if that particular one does, though.

  • While I'd prefer to see every state and province represented, I imagine only metro areas matter here anyway. The dangers of the road are quite different when your largest city has a sliver of density compared to the rest, though by that token, density is probably a factor that even large states should account for (which would probably put NYC very low on the list lol)

  • Upside, usually the controllers are extremely easy to fix. I'm not sure if they give free replacement pads still, but they used to if you asked support.

I've had other problems than shoulders on my pros, and never with the ultimate one I got, those seem to have a pretty solid build.

  • Lol, people have post-reddit PTSD if they think you're a shill. Maybe if/when Lemmy hits the mainstream but man, we're so off the radar most marketers have no idea this place exists.

It's a waste of money unless you're advertising something for Linux and/or communism... which would be a bit of a paradox, lol

  • I mean, is that merger of theirs even worth it? Skydance's only noteworthy movies are those they already have a deal with Paramount for as it is. This is just so stupid.

Then again, $16m is chump change so I guess gems like... *Checks notes... The Old Guard 2 (?) will be a worthy exchange for any trust in legacy media.

  • Most people will download roms, which is technically illegal although with 30 year old games there usually isn't much concern on enforcement (heck, even Switch games aren't really enforced). The legal way is to dump the rom from the original cartridge, though, and there are tools for that. Honestly, as long as you own the original game I'm pretty sure you can just argue you have a license to play, though.

Generally you can't share links to roms on communities, although I bet some communities are cool with it (/0 maybe?). Try not to go anywhere that looks suspicious, in any case. Most people don't malware Gameboy games, though lol. They won't be .exe in any case.

As for getting it to work, Android and iPhone have different emulator apps available on their respective stores. I tried MyBoy prior but tend to prefer Retroarch (which covers multiple systems, but is a like harder to setup). On Mobile, default has controls on screen so it's pretty much plug and play though. It's so much more convenient than digging up ancient systems, though!
