After WotC overprinted cards, they essentially promised not to reprint certain ones. I think it’s a dumb decision, but they’ve annoyingly stuck to it
WotC goes out of its way to avoid upsetting the used market/card arbitrage people. If they did a reprint of Black Lotus, the howl of anger from those folks would shake the Earth from its orbit.
Bike theft is such a problem where I live I've been very hesitant to get another one. If they can't get the whole bike, they'll wrench off tires/seats, etc. My town might be an outlier, but I wonder how other people deal with this kind of thing when their bike is their primary form of transport.
I know it's not a solution, but the libraries where I live provide water, shelter, bathrooms, and outlets to charge a phone when they're open. They keep longer hours and serve as cooling/heating centers during heatwaves and cold snaps, and host agents from a number of supportive services a couple of days a week. I know it's not their job, and that there should be dedicated, fully funded solutions for these things, but some library systems are trying very hard to meet people's needs where other government services aren't.
I don't always pay attention to the deep lore in games, and that sometimes hits me all at once. I'll find myself thinking, "Wait, why did I come all this way down a giant tree full of monsters to kill this lady? What the heck did she do to me to deserve that?"

On the plus side, the uranium-235 cookies will probably stay warm a lot longer than the others.
