Dumb question: who is behind the 14th Now group?

I own a small business consulting firm that the serves tech and energy industries. Generally, pay is good in consulting. Owning a company can be risky financially - we've had good years and bad years.

I used to commute 1.5 hours each direction - it was exhausting and I hated it.

100% remote.

I am furious with them for their lack of leadership and self awareness. The incompetence is shocking.

This is as close to leadership and a plan that I've seen so far. My observation (and fear) is that Democrats are bereft of ideas and incapable of leading. I don't know what we do when there's no one at the helm.

With respect to the other stuff, women are coached from a very early age to be attractive and aging is looked down on. There are industries dedicated to making (mostly) women more attractive. There are studies showing attractive women are more successful in the workplace. But my experience is that working is not as stressful as full-time homemaking/parenting - so I think you are a bit off track there.
