I think most people would be more likely to leave if things get bad enough. Question is if they can recognize the signs before the point of no return where escape routes are closed off.

Maybe there's a chance those games will come to GOG now that there isn't the psn requirement.

It's open source so why not just take the best parts of it and run it themselves if it is such a worry instead of relying on their app and website.

With how small base storage is on phones and macs this can come in useful.

You have the same information available to you as everyone else. Yet I'm guessing you have a different stance on the issue than the "idiots"? How is that? I'm assuming you aren't any richer than them, smarter, or connected.

So if you can come to a rational conclusion on matters what is the excuse of other people? There's likely not anything particular special about you that made you an exception from the masses.

When it comes to the average person it's more important to be willing to jump to another platform if an alternative comes up than waiting for a perfect one that will likely never appear. Repeating the cycle of joining and leaving I think is better than just staying when it comes to the average person and mainstream platforms.

Existence of mods goes against the concept of freedom of speech. People aren't prevented from directly using Twitter themselves. They'd be on 4chan if they wanted something as close to an unfiltered internet.

We wouldn't be on our respective instances that have blocked off entire instances and communities if we wanted to consume unfiltered internet content.

Even greedy Amazon is providing games that don't require a constant subscription to play even after you cancel Prime.

Twitter probably benefits from people being redirected to their site from repostings with how it has become the go to source for news like sports, so it might. Won't hurt Elon financially but less people being exposed to the content there that Elon wants to push that don't actively use Twitter is a good thing even if it is only a few.

Even small moves is a good thing with how over the years sports and game submissions have become increasingly more Twitter submissions.

Yeah, I'd do the same if I needed a card with the price being good, uncertain supply, and potential tarrifs. Been multiple generations since a GPU has had a launch where stuff is available, didn't have scalpers, and then price hikes.

Most effective would probably be spread of memes of Musk and Nazism being spread making the site so strongly associated with Nazi imagery that companies become afraid of their brand being associated with Nazi support. Brands being tarnished due to strong association is the only type of stuff companies tend to respond to.

I like that pipepipe provides an option to use a Google account fall back for videos that are age verified, since those don't work anymore without an account.

And they got a content filter update too so can block channels and keywords.

I was going to recommend android apps until I saw iOS. I don't know anyones that let you keep a local subscription like newpipe does without needing to sideload. So if there are I'd be interested.

I think Möbius Sync might work to get syncthing working for iOS.
