  • A cheap slim case I got for my Steam Deck so the side seams don't get filled with gamer gunk. It also made the grips a little thicker so they felt more comfortable than without the case. And then some random joystick covers which provides some grip.

  • Yeah, consumers didn't kill it the companies did. Same with audio jacks and SD slots. All things to push towards buying accessories, storage upgrades, and pushing people towards buying new phones as battery related issues pop up by making battery swaps an extra hassle needing servicing.

  • I find it fantastic for games with lot of side quests like jrpgs so I can utilize the suspend feature to make better progress with the portability and being able to stop whenever I want without losing progress. And then when it comes to the more cinematic main missions I might go and play on my PC with the TV display.

  • I first noticed this when I picked the iPad 2020 years back and despite the 120hz screen the experience feeling choppy at random times. It took like 6 months for bugs to finally be worked out.

It was jarring due to expecting more polished bug free experience out the gate as opposed to Android or Windows type bugs.

  • Individual user driven content where the focus in more on individual accounts I don't really like. Which is why stuff like Twitter, tiktok, shorts, Instagram hasn't strongly hooked me like forum based social media.

I prefer social media where it's more users all fading into the background with the attention given to the theme of discussion or showcasing as opposed to more influencer based social media.

  • I wonder what the most popular controller to use on PC is in Japan. Xbox is plug and play, but Xbox controllers aren't popular. So would Nintendo or Sony controllers be the most popular with improvements in steam input?

  • You are just ignoring that the installers can be downloaded and saved. Or even just the game directory can continue to work.

For people who value that it is a difference. Even how the game works is different with how some don't work offline or lose ability to function offline once verification expires compared to non DRM counterparts.

You are an idiot acting as if DRM and DRM free is the same as though some license terms is the only determining factor.

  • That GOG downloaded installers can't be forcibly deactivated or taken away? Your phrasing is confusing so I don't think people are able to tell whether you think GOG installers are a good or bad thing, or acting like it is useless and provides no further benefit than DRM alternatives.
