Kingdom Come: Deliverance II | Review Thread

  • This place just needs better moderation. I've said this multiple times before but there is a serious lack of moderation and most admins go dark for long periods of time. Make it clear this behavior isn't okay, ban people who run their mouth, and remove low-effort posts.

  • I literally just got called a snowflake in another thread for saying people should stop posting US politics in general communities. People still wonder why Lemmy has a bad reputation even in the entire Fediverse... Sometimes I wonder why I still bother here.

  • Because you're spamming USPOL in literally every other post on general communities on the entire platform? I literally could not have made it clearer.

  • Who gives a shit. Why is this in the YSK community? Why should I know this? Someone posted a list of names on the internet, now what? We beat fascism or something?

Take it to the US politics community and stop invading every single crevice on Lemmy to whine about it.

  • Dear diary,

It's January 22, 2025. People are still spamming politics in communities unrelated to politics. Despite being told multiple times to stop, I don't think they can take a hint.

  • I Highly, highly recommend Against the Storm if nobody has played it yet. Fantastic city builder roguelike with a gorgeous atmosphere and interesting world.

  • It's obviously satire mate

  • 32GB RAM for 1080p high is crazy... I hope the game is better optimized than it looks because this sounds rough.

  • Almost all the modern flagships have this garbage glass panel on the back that's slippery and can break when dropped. I just don't get it.

  • Not geoguessr, but rather the companies actually recording the street like Google.

  • Not anytime soon. Nvidia tried, and nobody liked it. LLMs still suck at creative writing and need a ton of RAM/VRAM just to work. They also often get confused or trail off in any discussion/roleplay.

The only game that sort of made it work was Suck Up!, where you're a vampire that has to convince an AI to let you in their house so you can suck their blood. It's a fun concept but even that game gets repetitive quick and the LLM is very stupid and random.

  • Well, now you can pirate it without feeling bad about it.

  • Wrong community for this. Also, cheaper anything can boost fertility. People who have the means to support children are more likely to have children, duh

  • 20 mil isn't that much, but this is good news. Hopefully this sets a precedent for other manipulative gacha games.

  • It's because you can actually have discussions on Lemmy, whereas microblogging like mastodon is just "old man shouts at cloud" multiplied by 2 million people. I never understood the appeal.

  • Bluepoint, the developer that remakes old games and has never made an original one before, were tasked with making a live service game? Wow.
