Miami Anti-Abortion 'Fake Clinic' Tied to Proud Boys, January 6, Far-Right, Clinic Invasions

  • Super duper neat I'd say! The fact antibiotic resistance could throw society back into the 1800's medically, this research is needed in a major way.

  • It doesn't seem like it, RHEL is based on Fedora. Fedora is beta RHEL more or less. But Alma, Rocky and Scientific Linux will all be in trouble as they're based on RHEL. Or at least that's what I make of it

  • Well said, I guess the blitz of information we encounter each day numbs folks to the SOP. But the fact this is SOP needs to be highlighted, it's offensive they think they can do it without repercussions.

  • You should try perplexity.ai as it provides sources & even has filters too. I prefer the academic filter, plus I like checking the provided sources to ensure the AI connected the various info together correctly.

Edit: Perplexity is also updated throughout the day while ChatGPT only has info from 2021 & prior.

  • Ladybird should add another option at least, I'm curious to see it in action.

  • Based on my understanding, Fedora will be unaffected but Rocky & Alma are in some hot water along with Scientific Linux. RHEL is based on Fedora while the others are based on RHEL.

  • There was one earlier this year or at the end of last year which provided invidious links for YouTube post, but then I stopped seeing it around. Apparently now there's many bot's being utilized or will soon be from the sound of it.

  • It's about subbing to anything in your wheel house and sorting by new. That's the only way it made since before the migration and still does. At some point it wont make much sense, but not quite yet.

  • I've thought the orca attacks are due to the big fasting moving objects being close to their offspring. But this makes sense too. Most likely a combo

  • It's all connected and why the planet is so intriguing to study from the macro scale to the molecular level and everything in between!

  • Pretty much, it was basicly delayed until the session ended preventing any discussion on the matter.

  • Since Fedora is upstream of RHEL I'd like to think it'll be unaffected from the move. But only time will tell

  • Oh ya, media censorship is the answer to conflicting view points 100%! Especially by a self described "group of journalists, analysts, editors, proofreaders, web designers, and media junkies who embrace progressive causes. Although our content focuses foremostly on Venezuelan news and analysis, our team hails from all corners of the globe publishing wide ranging articles on various topics. We understand the relevance of information from diverse nations, voices and sources, as well as the need for international context regarding Venezuela, from the perspective of Chavistas, meaning socialist-minded, anti-imperialist and Patria Grande driven people". Like who needs anti-imperialism being discussed in an increasing imperialistic world?

  • I'm not familiar with 3BP's design process for the Droplet, but Aptera's design is 100% based on aerodynamics. Aptera's engineering team is amazing and as long as it made sense regarding wind resistance, it was selected. The trunk can become a tent with the Aptera too, pretty ingenious.

  • Maybe add ecosia.org to the list, definitely a privacy focused search engine.

  • Yep, also encrypted and cross platform too!

  • Standard Notes is the downright best notes software, highly recommend it as a OneNote alt!

  • TLDW: Open source or nothing, but if your project is the first to truly blow up, you need to make git.

  • It's kind of a long shot, but a privacy based online doc option I recently learned about, which surprised me now 5+ years in, is etherpad. I really like the https://board.net hosted option, as the company behind it enables all the actually needed extension and isn't afraid to be privacy focused first. But you can host it yourself too. It's pretty much a “google doc” page, so it would need a table added to be filled in by the end user. Still only accessible by the folks you give the HTML link to though. Plus, you can always cut and paste the data into a new doc and give that new link to the folks who need it 🤷
