Israel Kills 40 in Gaza "Humanitarian Zone"

  • Yep, by definition metabolism is the sum of all chemical reactions in an organism! It's like the confusion with hypothesis and theory in media today, metabolism has basically been neutered the same way.

  • The crazy aspect is how many US citizens think their country only fights for freedom and anything contrary is fake news + Russian or Chinese propaganda

  • E&A by Eyedea & Abilities is phenomenal. Eyedea's approach to lyrics pairs well with DJ Abilities unreal scratching and beats!

  • Spun

Films super wild, also Brittany Murphy's last role as well.

Edit: Altered States is another WTF movie.

  • I despise it more than most as I enjoy the cold. Ten years back where I live, summer highs were 90 - 92°F and a one off. It's already hit triple digits this year, twice...

  • I hear you and that stinks to be told. However, is it not the vouchers of monetary value but those distributing them, who were voted into power? Guess from my angle that directly ties into the state being red or blue (with some grey area of course). Nonetheless, America has 3+ options for everything but politics, isn't that weird?!?

  • Your first-hand background is unfathomable, I have on'y seen this happen from the aggressors side for many moon's. This being the case, I don't think you give the reason for the international power showing up enough credit, which truly makes sense. Yet each US appearance aligns with coup's in the area. While the US "enemy" in global power references the aggressive errors while demonstrating opposing rules of law which keep the locals in mind is a VASTLY different approach and outlook.

  • This is the base which can run using Arch. Still has the 7 distro's in 1 concept (Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch, Kali, Debian, Rocky and Alma), but makes it easier for Arch users to switch over.

  • I love using the lynx launcher, zero trackers and it can incorporate arcticons too. Worth a try without question!

  • States the gnome-initial-setup. KDE is big on telemetry only being opt-in, so it seems like just the gnome environment. Or at least I hope I'm right...

  • At this point it's only a bit crazy to assume Elon is doing this to force folks to a platform more dialed in with the OG internet concept behind it!

  • Of course! At least that's how I've seen it with the uptick recently. Curious why you'd think it'd be an issue?

  • Phage libraries have depth, just wish there was more breadth. Since antibiotics took off, only Russia has paid them any mind. But some of the best collections are in the states. Cool to learn how phages are one of the fastest lifeforms regarding mutation though!

  • It's part of the equation for sure, but it's really just one of many evolutionary pressures a microbe experiences. Staph's are all resistant to Penicillin as they competed with fungi for resources well before Penicillin was discovered. Yet, curbing the antibiotic free for all would buy researchers more time to figure out solutions.

  • As of 2019, the swipe to delete was an option labeled "Back-word" but a name change was being discussed. There's also an option to move the cursor after holding the space bar too, just not sure of the name but it should be somewhere in the settings.

  • I've used AnySoftKeyboard for ages as it's infinitely customizable while also fully respects privacy. But it does take time to dial in every component. I give the Graphene keyboard a go every now and again, but AnySoftKeyboard is still my go to.

  • It seems like the real thing boils down to individual use case. WebP & WebM being a Google project has me uncertain out the gate. Looking at the format variances highlights this aspect:

"A few studies suggest that WebP compresses data more efficiently than JPEG or JPEG 2000. The benefits of file size reduction are especially noticeable for smaller files."

"A well-optimized JPEG can be as good as or better than WebP at the higher end of the quality spectrum."

"One of the main drawbacks of WebP is not all browsers support it yet. Only about 80% of the existing browsers offer WebP support."

"PNG photos are of higher quality (lossless) and the texts are clear."

So, for basic use WebP has an obvious benefit, but went photo editing and overall clarity are considered, then PNG or JPEG seems to be more reasonable.

To up load multiple pics you can use PNGs and throw them together in a simple editor making one file. Hopefully this won't be needed in the near future though.
