  • Yes, good. I love the smell of gaslighing in the morning.

I'm just sorry for the guy, while I do not condone what he did since I'm in a country where usa has license to kill without too many obstacles or consequences (I know, this ain't narrowing it down much). The mugshots are the pictures of a man who knows he's finished, done for. Nobody will really help him, and the best part of his life will be in a cell. And those idolizing him are the one who helped get him caught.

  • Yep, and spreading pictures of the guy all over the internet in celebration of his deed has been a wonderful second step. That was truly clever and smart and didn't help at all his arrest.

    Go USA revolution, go!

Just put down that self indulgence, before you hurt yourself.

  • Today it's called think tank, yesterday it was propaganda. You don't read propaganda and think it's good and fine, do you?

The article claims many things and, being propaganda, doesn't give any proof. Ah.... These events published in social media that everyone seems to know, described in such a fascinating writing style, but somehow are never linked to, embedded, ripped... At the beginning of the article. First two sentences. Bullshit from the start.

  • Like the Passover story of the child who does not know what to ask, too many American Jews can’t even fathom that there is a different point of view, based on a different experience and interpretation of the same historical events.

  • Imo, that fact that people voted and vote in the USA doesn't mean that USA isn't a fascist country. Just look at how bullishly they waged wars, and made millions of people suffer torture, pain, abandonment. They're the epitome of "me ne frego!"

  • Sorry, I'm italian. We've been fascists forever. The partito comunista italiano that wrote after ww2 the antifascist Italian constitution, with other parties obviously, had to allow the birth of movimento sociale Italiano: too many fascists, impossible to manage the situation, they had to organize. Although there are signs of significative active civil resistance, the matter it's that Italian people are fascist. Full stop. Also Italy has never been a liberal democracy, nor a fully free democracy, with usa helping terrorism (mainly, you guessed it, the far right one) during the 70s for example, and heavily meddling in our politics, at least until Enrico berlinguer was alive. I mean. We got the pope, for 2000 years, approx. You're invited to live in a country whose parliament sends laws to Vaticano, before discussing them; just in case, you know, they have a say.

Finally, being one of the few leftists left (I liked the pun) in Europe, I'm just waiting for putin to die, he'll have to, because I have no other choice than waiting. I just hope that USA won't wage the nth war in between, as they already helped the xenophobic nationalist far right Europeans movements a bit too much, in recent years.

So no, I cannot agree with you. I hope you see i'm disagreeing in a civil manner.

Have a nice day, thank you for your time and kind response.

PS USA crying about Trump? I mean, we had Berlusconi in politics for ~20 years. Been there, done that, ~25 years earlier.

Edit I hope I don't have to remind anyone that modern dictatorship was born in Italy, under the name of fascism. Yeah, keep hoping

  • In general I'd agree... In this specific occasion, dunno... The article talks about zero weapons, instead of several hundreds (if I got it correct). How could nobody in the command chain noticed this? Nobody had a conversation like

hey how's it going in bakmut?

eh, they got literally zero artillery

wha? We spent more than $30m... Let me call...

? Then again, I'm getting old AND grumpy

  • I don't understand how, during a war, people in apical roles steal money, and don't flee with the money ($35m, even $1m... And you still "go to work" everyday?) to avoid getting executed under martial law. All the more as the theft is plain clear to see to anybody informed about the operations - no ammunition? And why? How's this possible?

  • not saying anything, but Orban ain't immortal... sooner or later he's going to leave the govt. europe should cut money just at the perfect time, so that people would blame following shitty scenario on this white, old style, European man.

oh, in Italy he's highly regarded inside lega nord (Extreme far right, xenophobic, nationalist party now part of the government) and widely estimated, although not always explicitly, by fratelli d'Italia (far right, xenophobic, nationalist party now part of the government)
