"Religious exemptions" are just conservatives doing exactly what conservatives do: setting up one set of laws for one class of citizens and another set of laws for everyone else. Try denying two Christians their marriage certificate in the name of Lord Satan, or refusing to make a cake for Christians because you don't believe in Christianity, or any number of the other freedoms they've claimed for themselves. Not only will you not be offered the same rights the Christians have, but when they get violent you'll be told you brought it on yourself.

Why does being good at the game make you a good host? I'm not saying he isn't, but being a good host requires an entirely different skill set than being a good player. Bialik was there because her brand is intellectual nerdiness that Jeopardy wants to leverage, but also because she's been making TV off and on her whole life. That kinda feels more relevant to the skillset required to making TV.

Either you don't have a backup of those because you don't care, in which case you should delete them to make room, or you don't have a backup of those and would be devastated if you lost them, which means you should back them up to the cloud, then delete them to make room. An SD card slot would be nice, you're right there, but you're not exactly cornered with no options here. You're just dismissing good options because they're not an SD card.

I recently bought red dead 2 and that feature took some getting used to. Especially because the controls are context sensitive and the button that starts a conversation when your gun is holstered is the same button that points that gun at a stranger if it's out. I'm used to it now and compulsively holster my gun as soon as the shooting seems to be done, but for a while there was a lot of "Howdy partner. Fine weather we're having ain't.....no wait wait sorry I didn't mean....ah shit" and suddenly I'm in a shootout with the law and out $50 for my bounty when I just wanted to buy a bottle of whiskey.

I used to like to get gently stoned, fire up GTA 5, put on FlyLo FM in the car and just drive around. My brother and I would sit for hours, and it was basically like we were in a real car. I didn't drive super fast, took most reasonable precautions against wrecking and killing people. It was just...nice. A sort of cut-rate flow state where the thing I'm doing is something that I have to pay attention to, but not something I'm occupied by to the point of not being able to bs with somebody.

There are an awful lot of people in America who are above the law. We get to watch them break the law on TV, then they dare us to try to hold them accountable.

The federal government and constitution put some guardrails around what states can do, so I'm a bit more okay with states being able to change without the same supermajority as the constitution.
