“Caillou” is what we would call out our kids for being whiny. We used him as an example of how not to act and would call our kids “Caillou” when they started getting out line. Surprisingly effective.

Just got over that portion of being sick, but it’s evolved into a persistent cough now that’s hurting my abdomen I’m coughing so much. At one point I had to have two “stations” set up, a hot station for cooling down and cold station for warming back up. I would just bounce back and forth between the two as my temperature swung around wildly.

I’d probably try outside if I was going to let a woman try to hold it and aim, otherwise they’re gonna miss from just piss-poor aim or I’d start getting hard and that would make it even harder to aim.

Like who the fuck lived from 2016 through 2020 and thinks that that was anything other than a clusterfuck and wants to return to that again?

Just not using turn signals in general and lack of road etiquette is enough for me to judge people pretty verbally in my car, though nobody else ever hears it, so I guess it counts as a secret. You're driving a machine that can kill people out of negligence, the least you can fucking do is show some common courtesy and signal what you're intending to do with it and what direction you're going to move. People have more common courtesy when they're walking on the street and no danger to others, yet they moment they're behind a wheel and much more dangerous, it's like they have nothing but middle fingers for everybody else around them.

Oh, there's been some trickle down, it's just not anything having to do with money, it's been more of a golden shower that's been trickling down.

If I want to watch sex in a movie, I’ll watch a porno in my basement sex dungeon. If I want to watch something with family and friends without that weird awkward moment when SEX starts happening, I’ll watch a movie without a pointless sex scene in it.

Doubtful, GOP was perfectly willing to vote for a pedophile before, this is literally nothing to them.

Kind of at that point right now. Everything seemed to be looking up in life, right on the cusp of everything going great, debt coming under control, future looking bright. Then just as my gf was finishing up nursing school, she breaks up with me, essentially says she’d been using me for the last year or two to make ends meet until she graduated. Everything I’d been thinking about was our future together, now none of that means anything. We have a kid together, so we still have to interact, but she treats me like a stranger now. Life just feels meaningless, it’s made the election easier because I honestly don’t care if everything burns down now.

I did, but I’m in a Republican county/state, so it’ll be like I never even voted, but I do it anyways.

So will house prices go down?

Can’t wait to be able to pee on that grave. It’ll be like a pilgrimage.

Didn’t Hitler not even listen to his generals? Isn’t that even a knock against the idea of going back in time to assassinate Hitler, specifically because of how bad he was mucking up the war effort? If someone were to go back and kill Hitler, that could actually change the direction of the war in that somebody more competent might’ve directed the war effort better than Hitler. So in a weird way, Hitler might be the least worst possible option.

And that last 1/3rd person is the one actually spewing it.

Same, I don’t necessarily think it prevents any crimes from happening, but there are some individuals who will provide nothing back to society that could possibly make up for what they’ve done, and their continued existence is a threat to those around them that have to deal with them on a daily basis.

BUT until the criminal justice system can be reformed or provide more equatable justice, I don’t know that we can 100% say everyone on death penalty deserves it. I don’t know how we fix it, but it shouldn’t be left to private individuals or groups to have to exonerate people on death row.

I’ve warmed up to her and think she’ll make a good president, but I honestly haven’t liked Kamala for the past 4 or so years. I had actually hoped she would’ve disappeared off the face of the earth when she lost the democratic primaries, then Biden picked her up as VP and she’s been one of the most inconsequential VPs in modern US history. Considering how important/influential the VP has been since Dick Cheney seemingly redefined the role, Harris just hasn’t brought much, which is in keeping with how the role has been traditionally seen. I dreaded her stepping up for president, but she seems to have exceeded my expectations and I’ve come around to her.

As for Harris’ qualifications/positions, they seem like average middle of the road Democrat positions, nothing too exciting, but it would be nice to get a younger face in there who had some understanding of some modern technology.
