  • In it's first three months, Canada's new Dental care plan has 75% of dentists signed up and 2.3m people.

As part of a phased rollout, the government began accepting claims for dental coverage for seniors in May and expanded eligibility to children under the age of 18 and Canadians with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate in June.

Remaining eligible Canadians are scheduled to gain access in 2025.

  • I'm not sure "radioactive orange no-name fake square slices of oil solidified" constitutes cheese 🤔

  • I find it hard to believe anyone would not immediately burn the fake ID used to book into the Hostel, which they say he had it on him. I would have burned the coffee cup from before the event too though.

Honestly, I wouldn't have gone to Starbucks or McDonald's (24 year boycott) either, let alone sitting down inside. I'd be in Mexico or Canada. Why would he go back to the state of his alma mater? This doesn't make a lot of sense, and like the wonderful Judge Judy says, "if it doesn't make sense, it's not true". I'm sticking with "scapegoat" until I hear something logical.

  • It is wild that he was there minutes before CEO walked by, considering the meeting was later and CEO went early. Makes it sound like a more sophisticated operation.

  • I quit a few months after those came out in my province, and it was a bit of a shock the first time I saw them; but then like most things, they just became stripes on the butt. I probably wasn't their target audience though.

While they didn't make me quit, (I had already decided on my "quit date"), I will say the extra graphic warning pictures were pretty damm effective for starting that conversation with self. I had to take a sharpie to a few packs.

  • Same. Dude started off on the semblance-of-sanity side and then betrayed logic and science in multiple stunning acts of pure idiocy.

This is Judas-as-metaphor, not picture The Last Supper.

  • Here is a screenshot of the godforsaken guitar so people don't have to give that site views:

    Image transcription:
    4 panels
Top right is a regular looking guitar with the ludicrous name "God Bless the USA guitar" for $1000.
The bottom right is a bright red electric guitar for $1,500.
Guitar with ugly eagle in flight spanning 75% of it, a US flag filling the remaining 25%, is in top left panel: $1,250.
Same guitar with hideously ugly Trump signing it in bottom left panel: $10,250.

  • Ya, I wanted to use a bland spy but there aren't any-- I was going to use the Spy vs Spy guys because they are the most generic-looking, but ultimately I kept Powers because while he is stylish and fun, he is also really immature and the logo looks immature to me.

  • It doesn't say "car" at all either; no elegance or prestige. The old logo was sexy. New one looks like a logo for bottled water or something.

Edit: it's like going from James Bond to Austin Powers Inspector Gadget

Edit: I think this survey is problematic for a number of reasons, so I hope no one takes it too seriously. I'm one of the women who'd rather her boyfriend smoked pot instead of getting drunk, and would rather play games (tabletop or video) than go to the movies.

  • WALL-E!

    EVE!!

  • That does nothing for me; gimme Dad Bod though ( ͥ° ͜ʖ ͥ°)

  • OP pic his gut sticks out to the point where it reaches the edge of the building in the background (top portion). Vid pic it doesn't reach.

  • So does Android. This phone is old and it's on the edge menu (Samsung).

  • I know that, I just didn't think they'd go as far as to make a sliding scale of punishing wages for teachers who don't comply.

  • Wow, that's disgraceful.

Funny how much "Agenda47" sounds similar to "Project2025"....

Also, "Merit Based Pay"?! AFAIK there is currently a teacher shortage and this dumbass thinks people are going to abide by a, no doubt, asinine rulebook to make a crappy wage in relation to the schooling required?

  • That was just bizzare.

Can you think of the leader of any other country where that would slide? I mean, not even Boris would have been that crass. Even keeping it within the States, is there a past president who would have?

It really made me think of elderly flashers, who act that way because they have degenerative neurological disorders associated with age.

  • What @SanctimoniousApe@lemmings.world said

It does state the source of the article though (this one says The Independent UK), and you can click the 'jump to' icon to go the proper site-- but it won't be at the proper article, just the main page.

But just in general-- If my query returns a lot of MSN hijack links, I just go back and put -MSN in the search.

    Edit: screen of page
