Now that's a great idea! Using Statler & Waldorf (the old hecklers from the balcony) for Peter Falk's Grandpa role ought to be hilarious!

I'm gonna be spending hours now trying to figure out which Muppet to assign as each character from TPB - like who gets stuck as Prince Humperdinck (or the six-fingered man)? Thanks... 🙄

I don't like musicals because I'm there for a story that's believable, and that I can relate to - nobody just breaks out in song when they get dumped, for example. Muppets get a pass because I already had to suspend my disbelief in order to even want to watch them.

Looks mighty pissed - must have just as hard a time getting all of it off as we humans do.

There may not be the same quantity, but reach matters, too. The Catholic Church has had two blatantly left-leaning Popes in a row now. While it's been in a slow decline for a good while, surely they're still large enough to matter?

Reality ain't real, as far as these numbskulls are concerned. Normally I wouldn't care because I know reality always wins in the end, but now their near complete subversion of our government means they're inflicting the damage resulting from their stupidity not just on themselves, but upon everybody.

I never specified how she got there, so I'm not sure what you think you're on about. Feel free to enlighten me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is if the seat is vacated then the president at the time could nominate her for that position, and pick someone else to fill her current role if she gets confirmed for the position. I know it's unlikely to actually work out that way, but IMHO she would make an excellent choice for the first black female in that role. It would go a LONG way towards correcting the damage done by Republicans over recent decades to the validity of America's professed "world leader" status.

Seems to be the driving force for a LOT of companies these days - particularly in tech (ahem M$ cough). Late stage capitalism, indeed.
