  • Yeah, this is copying colorOS and perhaps other chinese UIs. They have pill notifications.

  • TL;DR

    • The Google Play Store’s subscriptions page is getting a UI revamp later this year.
    • Under the revamped subscriptions UI, you’ll see all your active and expired subscriptions, as well as checklists of benefits that you currently have access to or are no longer getting.
    • Google demoed a mockup of this new UI at its private Play Summer Press Event that we attended.
  • I searched amazon and could not find a single smartphone with MIL-STD-810H certification atleast not in my region – india. It's super rare if you can even find one.

  • How are the thermals? I hear they have heating issues due to their slim profile.

  • But, this one offers Military grade certification for durability. This should be better than other slim smartphones.

  • Yeah, it's unfortunate sdcard is not a staple feature in higher midrange and flagship smartphones.

User replaceable batteries may make a comeback due to EU regulation.

  • The colours look cool and Gen 1 repairability is good. But, 2 years of security updates are a joke.

  • What phone is this? Are the batteries from the official service center or 3rd party repair service/site?

  • More like a collaboration. But, OK.

  • If your phone can do circle to search. it should handle the ads Easter eggs just fine.

  • I doubt you would get a replacement battery now. But, you could try if you do not want to upgrade to a new one

  • Edit: lol, sneaky edit.

If you use the same phone for 3-5 Years. It does start to feel a bit old. Especially, if it's not getting new OS updates.

Changing launchers, themes, icon packs can make it feel a bit fresh.

  • Personally, I feel. The comics tab, ability to win Pixel hardware(in supported regions), personalized game searches sound good. Others are okay.

  • Haha, that will be $5-10 per month. What do you say?

  • Last I knew according to GSMarena. IPhone 13 mini was 5.4inches had a 2438mah battery, did not have a telephoto camera, did not support sdcard slot, IR remote, 66w fast charging.

This is smaller has a larger battery and has more features. So..

  • How else were they gonna cram all the stuff in a 5-inch body? My current phone is twice as thin but is much large at 6.8inches.

  • Wow, the specs are not half bad. 12GB RAM with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage which is also expandable alongside a decent Dimensity 7300 decent 100MP + 8MP 3.4x telephoto, with a half decent 4000mah 66w fast wired charging running android 14.

I expected another underpowered hardware like most small phones before. All this for $259 cannot complain. If I was for a small phones in the market, I would definitely consider this.

  • Lol, at least they bothered with actual improvement instead of blasting the horn the other side.

  • Don't base security on what one firm can and cannot do.

The same article links to graymagnet from graykey fully supporting the IOS 17, S24 series and pixel 6 and 7 smartphone. Notice the lack of pixel 8 series smartphone. Does that mean pixel 8 is more secure than anything on this planet? Not quite.

Smartphone security is a continued endeavor. There will always be something that can break it to some extent one way or other. That's why you have monthly security updates to fix security issues as they continue pop. The cellebrite article also mentions IOS 17.4 support soon. It's just a matter of time. I wouldn't fret too much.

  • For perspective my current non-folding 6.8inch smartphone is 8.5mm thick. The honor fold smartphone is thinner while having a larger battery to begin with!

    So, yeah really thin ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
