  • I had written that info in post body.

  • I was takking more about the apps being shutdown. DivestOS shutdown with its suit of mobile apps.

  • You will have to switch soon. DivestOS has been shutdown

  • Dimensity 8000 series has always been upper midrange Dimensity series. 9000 series is top end flagship.

    I don't see the ambiguity.

I was thinking about linking the GSMarena article but that hardly mentions the things like efficiency, etc.

  • Outside of Redmi and Poco other OEMs like Oneplus, Samsung should consider using this chip.

    But, that's unlikely.

  • Apple helped developed the QI2 wireless charging and magsafe is also a wireless charging standard.

  • Samsung doesn't bring hardware upgrades until 2-3years later. They have stagnated and become more like apple.

  • Because it means compatibility with magsafe accessories. So, you can attach magnetic powerbanks and other things to your phone.

  • Highlight the fact that the website doesn't work for ordering stuff to the parking lot. I was going to suggest social media but then I realized you wouldn't be using one in the 1st place. Nevermind

  • You can highlight via email to target. Or consider getting your order close to your home.

  • It uses wireless or local ADB. No root required.

  • You can install Shizuku and AppOps to set default permissions for new apps and limit clipboard permission for installed apps.

  • Doesn't appear to work in my case. I can a blank screen like I would when trying to screenshot.

  • Can't you use the target website? There's hermit for web apps which can sandox websites for you.

Using android 8 will mean you are using a vulnerable OS so stuff like this should be common. Newer android versions limit app activity and data collection.

You can use apps like Shizuku and AppOps to limit permissions and data, apps can gather on you.

  • Its not zero. HMD has launched a phone which is QI2 compatible and oneplus 13 also supports this standard

  • basic common sense security features are such a huge improvement.

Can you list some common sense security features?

  • The review is for the Chinese version of the Oneplus 13. So, somethings like software update time is not clear.

Outside, that it should be fine. You can see the pros and cons mentioned by them in the review.

  • My downloads, uploads, and connections in genral are much faster on 5G. I'm talking 200mbps-400mbps vs 10-20mbps speed difference.

On 4G every action takes longer. On 5G I can reliably stream or download FullHD or higher resolution video for offline viewing. Which is a nuisance on 4G.
