  • Funny meta social media posts? Fine. Whatever.

But this is honestly just insulting and unprofessional.

I’m sure they get some applications from people who genuinely need that job, and then they’d get sent that rejection…

  • Just leaned into the clunkiness of the combat.

First time I tried to make a fast build to compensate, but that didn’t help and just made it so I did no damage.

Second time I went for a regular build and just accepted it was slower paced than dark souls.

  • Took me some getting used to, and the combat feels more clunky than souls.

Surge 1 was the first game I ever refunded on steam because I hated it so much. Gave it another go a few years later and ended up enjoying it though.

  • I still don’t really see how you could give the game 10/10, but I think you’re right about that sweet spot.

Would be interesting to see how many 10/10 reviewers would still stand by that rating though.

  • I’m glad we’ve reached the point where most people accept the game’s lacking in so many ways and overall a disappointment.

There was some hard cope when the game first released, with the fanboys telling everyone who criticised it that they were wrong or being unreasonable.

Any reviewer who gave this game 10/10 was smoking crack. Enjoyment of a game is subjective, but if you try to be remotely objective (their job) then there’s no way you can give it 10/10.

  • Really?

I always think the road ragers are the ones that can’t actually drive. They drive like idiots then lose their shit when called out on it or if they put themselves in a bad situation.

They always seem to think they’re the best drivers on the road though 🤔

  • I’ll take what the president says as the stance of the US government, and I don’t think that’s remotely unreasonable…

If he’s making mistakes with off the cuff remarks, then he needs to stop making off the cuff remarks.

  • It’s not going to happen anytime soon, but it’s still worth talking about now. I really think that, short of an implosion of the EU, we will inevitably rejoin.

That may be very far into the future, but there’s no reason to not sow the seeds now. It promotes us building relationships with the EU as well, which is something we desperately need, as opposed to the “scrap EU regulations for the sake of it” approach.

  • Don’t you have to be in an almost pitch black room for it to look decent though? I also heard there can be pretty bad input lag?

It was quite a few years ago that I last looked into a projector so maybe they’ve gotten better, but these days massive TVs are so cheap I don’t know if it would even be worth it.

  • Heard’s notes read, “Jason said he wanted me fired. Jason drunk — late on set. Dressing like Johnny. Has all the rings too.”

Something about that really made me laugh.

It’s peak nut job rambling, making absurd connections and taking offence to random shit.

  • If white supremacists launched an attack and kidnapped people, then I wouldn’t be calling racism over rape accusations.

These people are animals because of their actions, not their skin colour.

  • The meaning of OP’s question seems blindingly obvious to me, as long as you don’t take it too literally…

I’d say the DaVinci code would be a good answer, I’ve got a copy that I’ve never read. Same with the Harry Potter books as well.

The girl on the train is another book that everyone seems to own, but nobody reads.
