  • are those competing?

It's being rushed to market and is still very inefficient, but part of the reason it's being rushed to market is because companies are getting ahead of themselves about the opportunity to fire human employees.

  • And no matter how many protectionist measures that the US implements we're seeing that they're losing the global competition. I guess protectionism and oligarchy aren't the best ways to accomplish the stated goals of a capitalist economy. How soon before China is leading in every industry?

  • Violent revolution isn't option 2 but it might very well be necessary, and I don't blame you for wanting no part of it but we'll all be thankful if it happens. People have had to make tough choices in the face of fascism and evil throughout history and it's only thanks to them that those things have been rebuffed in the past.

  • We lost more valuable stuff leaving them in charge: manufacturing capacity.

Capital flight is perfect, they can't take the means of production with them. It's an empty threat.

They've taken more away just being allowed to stay here. Let them flee, just means less time needed sharpening the guillotine blades when we're fed up.

  • it can be expected and even understandable to some degree but that doesn't mean it needs to be accepted and normalized. It's wrong, objectively. Emotion needs to be put aside when deciding policy and action.

We can understand hate without giving in to it
