  • Yes, and then you stream them from their servers. It's quite different to a seedbox though, and that's because (apart from torrenting) they have premium subscriptions to DDL services, such as rapidgator, to allow them to rapidly download the files for multiple people. Then, you download their "saved" version of it on their server. You have no real access apart from downloading from/streaming from debriding services, whereas a seedbox you have control over it, can install other applications, have storage limits, etc.

    Does this clear it up?

  • Totally forgot about Lockwise, but I feel the way they 'killed' it was super easy to transition from. Though, if they do decide to do this for emails it will be quite the issue. Only reason I'm hesitant on SimpleLogin is because of their pricier plans. Thanks mate.

  • Centralization isn't much of an issue for what I'm looking for since most of this will be linked to no "real" identity. The paid features of both services (custom domain, replying via alias, more aliases) are something that I do need, so free plans are off the table for me. I do agree on you with the Anonaddy UI part, it's far more pleasing to my eyes than simplelogin at the moment.

    Thank you!

  • Unfortunately do not use proton, but general consensus about compatibility works just fine without proton. Subdomains, to me, seem like a super easy way to identify someone - I'm going to be the only person using "abc.simplelogin.com", basically the same as if I was using my real email.

Currently, since no one is talking about Firefox Relay, I'm between either Anonaddy or Simplelogin. They seem pretty similar according to the couple comments here.

    Thank you for the feedback!

  • I honestly prefer Kavita even though I do not download comics or manga. Their reader is so nice, specially with the themes. 0 issues on my end except for indexing, which the dev promptly fixed after I reported the issue.

I use Moon+ Reader pro on my android, and on my iOS I simply make a "webapp" of the website.

  • What a debriding service does is download the torrent for you, and cache it on their servers. From there you can download it from their servers without ever "touching" the torrent itself. Common uses for it are with Stremio, to stream cached movie torrents directly from the debrid service's servers.

These services are also used to download from paywalled DDL websites, such as rapidgator, nitrodl, etc, so you do not need to wait 500 hours of 50kbps.

  • Just my opinion as a canadian, I must admit that you are wrong. They skimped out on the curds (which no place in quebec would ever do), put very sad and skinny fries that look barely cooked... The onions are fine I guess, really depends on who's eating it.
