My ongoing quest to create an edible/satisfying gluten (oat) free porridge continues. The current mix uses polenta+chia for the stickiness, rice flakes+millet for texture and coconut+ground up almond for yums. It's ok but the millet takes way too much soaking and cooking to get soft. I might try to source some aramath instead.
I found a pretty good store bought one but it's not cheap so I'm using their ingredients as a starting point for my experiments. The polenta was a good addition.
Lunch with friends incoming. Have just collapsed this weekend. Complete overwhelm. I am ok, some good things have started to happen and the stuff I trashed myself for at work has now been approved so I have funding for next year and some really exciting things...but it's a lot. The little animal me just wants to lie looking up into a tree. Going out will be good to move. Happy Sunday everyone ð
Oh that's awesome! It's so painful when you just can't concentrate on THE THING. Once you find that trick that lets you lock in and focus its all go. Hope its a downhill run now
I had a dream that I was in a car and we were all randomly stressed and then a little tuxedo kitten literally fell from the sky through the window on my lap. I think someone somewhere was sending me a hug.
(lack of) Vitamin D / Iron do this to me. And just general overwhelm/stress - I find myself not finding words, forgetting names, etc. Then I will crash out for a day or two and reset. I have never gone without caffiene so can't comment - I'll give up everything else but my morning espresso.
I also sometimes get on the ginko tablets after a virus etc - I find it helps a little with brainfog, for me,
I did it. I put away the clothes. And threw out/ added to donate pile a bunch of old stuff. And vacuumed. Gonna make a gin, have an everything shower and pop a one pot spag Bol in the instant pot.
