If you want a screen protector, stay away from the 512gb version since you either put a protector with glare ontop of the anti glare screen. Or double down on anti glare which reduces image quality.
Most people should probably buy the 256 gb version and get a large external storage.
Only buy the 64gb version if you are looking to make an internal swap. It's very easy but obviously not for everyone. Some people argue that 64 gb is ok if you buy a 512gb se card or bigger. But shaders cache caches up to most of us. It's a bitch, and storage will fill up even if you have 0 games in internal storage. Especially if you wanna use a basic install of CryoUtilities which I recommend everyone to do.
You can just play it with Game Pass Cloud streaming. There are no issues with this game specifically.
Generally though, as far as I know, you can't add games installed locally by Game Pass as a non Steam Game. They aren't installed in the traditional sense. No .exe, for example.
I just didn't like the complexity to get in house game streaming to work. Moonlight/sunshine should work. But I also wanna be able to just remote my entire desktop. Do much easier on windows still.
I thought this would be viable through Game Pass Cloud streaming. Bummer if it isn't since Moonlight can't find games installed on Game Pass on my pc. Might have to settle for a payment though Steam as well, then :)
I agree in theory. But most of us won't do that because we aren't familiar reusing things in this way. As in, it won't be reused. Not because it's hard, only because we won't be arsed to. And it's sad.
How does your EA app crash? They recently changed their launcher so you have to download some .dlls and a font to be able to log on using the Deck. There is a decently easy way to fix it if you google and check youtube. Done it myself about three weeks ago but forgot the source that guided me.
I believe you just underestimated these general instances of Lemmy. Also it doesn't sound like you got the approval of the dev to post this. Doesn't feel completely right, I dunno.
I think we all share your opinions. And Decky loader really is grandmother-safe. The Bluetooth plugin is the one I like the most since my headset sometimes doesn't connect automatically. So I can turn BT off and on again, and reconnect very easily. I also like the plugin where I can see recommended settings on games and apply them manually if I want to. Stuff like that. I don't go deeper at all.
Nothing about Decky will be an issue. It's been around for very long. It's never crashed, always worked and never created any hassle for me. And I've used it for about 6-7 months.
Probably Minecraft with my 5 year old. Yesterday and today. Been loving it.
