Yeah so many people have missed out on Grim Dawn. It's a bit sad it doesn't have multiplayer but in the grand scale of things its what a lot of people wanted with D4. Let me play Singleplayer offline! This game does it. And boy does it do it well.
You seem to have missed the part where I wrote that Starfield is probably not even close to pushing the boundaries in the same way that Crysis did. So I can't do much explaining in detail about that it is.
There will always be that game that pushes the boundaries between current gen and next gen. Sometimes even more. Crysis is the perfect example of the past. Starfiels seems to do a decent job right now even if it's probably not even close to what Crysis did. When people spend a lot of money we feel entitlement, thats only natural. No one did anything wrong. So no need to point a finger anywhere.
I bought an external travel monitor just recently. 15-16", 10800 mah battery, 1080p. Very thin. Plug it into the usb c and the screen even have touch. I can now play on a bigger screen without the need of a tv or even a power socket. Pair this with a dock, a small keyboard and wireless mouse and you basically have that laptop for when you need it. Brings cost up somewhat for sure. But now you can use it as handheld, on a screen, or on the tv.
You don't control what happens in a movie. Everyone knows it's in most movies. And most movies don't show mych. But if you play a game and someone walks into the room and thats on the screen they are 100 gonna ask or wonder wtf you are doing. I believe that's about it.
I agree 100%. I cant imagine myself playing and my son comes and asks me what I'm playing and... Just no. It has to be very, very optional if ok. But even then it just feels unnecessary to me.
So the same as 98% of users. But losing w/e games you had on there, if not installed directly from Steam, might be a frustrating endeavour. Just wanted to give a heads up. If you didn't really need it, that's ok and a thanks is alright. Have a good day.
It was just a post by someone claiming to work in retail and they had a lot of people coming in with sd cards about 1 year after Steam Deck release saying they had used it in a Deck. Nothing more to share I'm afraid. Hard to know how true it is but good to know so you can make backups.
A lot of retailers claim people are returning with sd cards that stop working after about a year in the Steam Deck. Not sure about the validity but good information to take in notheless.
While you were gone I uninstalled Voyager, used Sync, came back to voyager today and thinking of uninstalling Sync. This app is just so good. I hope the trip was great experience!
This. Valve is doing a lot of good. People can claim they are doing a lot of bad as well but I can't mention many companies with purity from top to bottom.
Yeah it's far more relaxing to play a jrpg with good music, nice looking environments when I can actually listen to the music and look at the world instead of focusing on the enemies tells and dodgeroll at the exact perfect moment. Nothing wrong with perfect dodgerolls. But I don't want them in all my games.
I used a plastic bender-tool thingie that I've bought. I used the same tool to swap earbuds on my headphones a while back which brought new life to my old, worn, but expensive headphones. Actually worth it since it's SO much easier to open stuff.
I followed a youtube video to do the swap. Took me about 2 hours going through it all very slowly. Detaching the battery cord is what took the most time and patience. Just a very slow process where I questioned if I'm even making progress, but it loosened eventually.
Not at all hard to do. Just required a little attention and I watched the whole guide before I got started.
Agree. Guessing you aren't using CryoUtilities for higher vram and such. Mine got full in an instant and it was all I had locally. Dunno what caused it.
Edit: had the same issue over multiple wipes and reinstalls so I just pulled the trigger on new internal storage and everything feels great.
