  • This is one of many jokes I've seen about him being a wheelchair user. Making jokes about something he has no control over os just petty. He's a dick. In terms of his wheelchair, he got rich suing after he lost the use of his legs, then make that kind of payout illegal after he got his.

He's a POS, he's corrupt, his policies kill people, he's a bigot, so call him out on that.

  • The thing is, it's not in their interest. You can't make a reliable deal with the USA and while you try, you're losing ground to others.

Germany tried making deals with Putin and failed Europe. You'd think they'd have learned their lesson.

  • Yes, I don't see how they don't see that. I get trying to drag it out while opening other markets, but as china showed, he responds to shows of strength. There I no point negotiating in good faith. He won't honour it.

Europe should not be looking at what's the best way to trade with the USA, but look at what's the best way to support European companies being alternatives to the USA monopolies.

That's Trunos plan for the USA. Europe has an opportunity to take the lead and spread worldwide while other countries have the same issue.

If the large blocs, like EU can't stand up to Trunos tariffs, smaller countries have no chance and that is to everyone's detriment. If the EU stands up, china stands up, then medium economies like Canada and Australia can stand up too. He only has leverage when people are divided.

  • Like trump doesn't have more intelligent people hidden behind him.pulling the strings, lol. I think the problem, like with joffrey, is he becomes harder to control the more he realizes he holds more power than they do, at least on terms of the state and cult and followers.

  • I don’t think she would be stateless. Seems she’s living in Ireland and has an Irish born parent. She might have dual citizenship at this point.

That’s not to say there is any legal mechanism to take away her American citizenship, just that being left stateless would likely not be the result.

  • The are closing the source, so custom ROMs won't have the same code they did before.

GrapheneOS, for instance, a privacy focused rom that focused on pixels, won't be able to release to the same schedule as regular android. Only commercial developers will get the required code.

It's one more nail inthe coffin of androids open nature. I'm looking forward to limix phones. A return to control, customisation and less data harvesting.

It's truly awful what the smart phone ecosystem has become.

  • Yes, but that was already clear from the word profit. I assumed you didn't know what profit was precisely.

Maybe I'm mistaken. What's your point? That there are more people benefitting from the oil industry? If so, that probably means the richest 1% are taking more than the bottom 75% (of those that benefit in any way). Yet, we all suffer the consequences of the pollution.

  • Salaries aren’t profit. Salaries are money paid for labour. Profit is what comes after all the bills are paid. For some profit, lots of unpaid labour happens in the background, like setting up a small business. For others, like big oil, profit is the money the capital class gets for doing nothing, and is taxed at a lower rate than wages.

  • If she pushed them, how was she the one with bruises?

This was at a courthouse. There are cameras everywhere. It's lies. It's intimidating rightful observers and protest.

Ice are terrorising little old ladies. Hopefully those that don't care about due process will at least care a out that.
