  • First, you have to enable them; there should be a checkbox in the settings. I think you need to restart qB after this.

Then, in the bottom right corner of the main window, hit the "Search Plugins" button and then select the update button. That will auto-populate with some of the more well-known ones.

If you need a specific site, check out this repo.

  • Personally, I haven't visited a public torrent site in years because qBittorrent has search plugins, so things mostly go through the sites' APIs.

With Jackett, I don't even really have to check the site for the private tracker I use; the only reason I visit now is to see what's new and popular in case it seems interesting.

  • Why do you feel like not contacting someone so that you can feel better about a mistake is the same as killing someone?

Seems like a moral justification for bothering someone (for no reason other than to assuage your guilt) and comes off entitled as hell.

This is akin to Matthew Broderick begging for forgiveness from the victim's family despite knowing they don't want to give it. Stop.

  • I can't say because those paths are relative and I don't know your file structure. That said, even if I did, restoring from backup would take out all of the guesswork here so I would recommend that over trying to do it manually.

  • I have 2 whiteboards at my house: 1 for groceries, 1 for tasks. You might find, like I do, that writing the things you want to do in a visible place helps you actually do them. It's not fool-proof, but it keeps me from completely forgetting about their existence.

  • If ./ and ./*/*/* are both within your home folder, you should just restore it from your backup. The command you ran takes everything up to 3 levels deep and moves it up to the working directory, and unraveling that will be a pain in the ass.

  • Honestly: either hyperfocus (mostly only works on tasks I like), setting consequences for not doing it and sticking to them so my brain hates not doing it more, or just... not getting it done.

A lot of the things in my life don't get done. I'm not on meds because I can't afford it. :P

  • First Nations leaders also have expressed concern about Carney's plan, saying they fear it will side-step their land and water rights, and have asked for more clarity on how they will be involved.

I'm extremely worried about this plan with regards to indigenous sovereignty. I'm all for a better economy, but Canada has a responsibility to meaningfully consult with indigenous communities that it normally shirks and I'm not convinced it won't do so here due to the nature of the project ("nation building").

  • I think implementing a dedicated tool will help polish the experience since draw.io and excalidraw both support drawing diagrams and flow charts and that's great for organizing visual data, making mind maps, and brainstorming.

I will look into making a PR next week but I've barely ever used Git and I'm not a developer so expect it to be kinda crap spaghetti code, lol. My CSS experience begins and ends with user layouts and themes on websites like MySpace and Tumblr, unfortunately, but I like making things look nice.

  • Canada Post said arbitration would be long and complicated and would likely last more than a year

Oh, like the constant job action from workers because you won't bargain with them in good faith?

Corporate lies are so easy to identify because corporations have a compulsive need to passively misrepresent the situation in ways that unilaterally place them as innocent bystanders who are being unfairly targeted by evil, evil workers.
