  • From my time in the factory, if a safety seal was broken (e.g. open a hatch giving access to rotating parts),the whole machine halts.

you are correct though that such safety would require electricity to function.

I did not meant a brake like you have on the table saws that pull away the saw upon skin contact. That shit is expensive

  • I was not gonna post this. I scrolled back and did anyway.

It has been a defence mechanism after meeting too many toxic people. I shut up everywhere, never expressing emotions or opinions. Tired of getting called out for strange ideas or expressions.

Fuck it all. It destroyed 15 years of my life. Getting out of the cycle is not easy!

  • Looks thick enough to scoop it off with a dull knife or spoon. if you wanna use products, go from sfe to harmfull, depending on what the wheels are made of. You don't want to damage those. I'd start with water. Soak em overnight in water, chances are it will come off easily after that. If not, you can try alcohol as mentioned in other comments. It looks thick, so it will need time to work in. Petrol or kerosine will work, but check compatibility with your wheels first.
