  • Thank you so much for posting this, Sponserblock was an instant buy :) Didn’t know there was such a thing on iOS

  • Not saying it’s sustainable (it isn’t), but Amazon has an insanely high turnover rate, partially because new employees bring a fresh perspective and new ideas. It brings new energy and creativity.

Ofc Amazon achieves that turnover rate by treating people like shit and sooner or later they’ll run out of new people.

  • It’s definitely more convenient, especially if you don’t want to grant Imgur access to your entire photo library (which I don’t). It’s super annoying how many apps still require that, even when there’s a system image picker available that‘s better in every way.

  • If you’re on iOS, here‘s a shortcut that makes it more convenient to upload images to Imgur.

  • For me, the most important ones are probably:

    • Noir: dark mode on any website
    • Vinegar: ad block for YouTube + Pip
    • Vidimote: set the default playback speed for all videos (1.5x in my case)
  • Yeah it’s probably similar to the wireless charging case they released some time ago. I think that was the only change and you could also buy a case by itself.

  • I’d assume you can use your Mac as a monitor, but the mouse won’t be able to break out of your Mac display.

  • It's also unclear if the updated AirPods will have any new features or changes beyond a USB-C charging case.

I‘m guessing the port change would be the only change then.

  • All are gone except for this one which I guess is on purpose, so looks good thanks :)

  • Fair enough, I‘m certainly not trying to rush anyone I hope that didn’t come across that way. I was just wondering about the reason and that seems to be a pretty good one. Thanks for taking the time to answer :)

  • I guess it comes down to what kind of data they’re able to get from people viewing the image or the person uploading it.

  • Genuine question: since the images are public either way, what’s the main concern regarding privacy? Having the app on your phone? Imgur getting information about people viewing the image?

  • Being called "backwards" by the head of the catholic church is quite something

  • Attack On Caterpillar

  • I found it funny because it’s probably true. And since they live forever in the movie they were motivated to fix the planet for themselves. Not sure if that came across, but that’s what I meant.

  • Haha, I like this part:

[…] Gates responded: "Well, Steve, I think there's more than one way of looking at it. I think it's more like we both had this rich neighbor named Xerox and I broke into his house to steal the TV set and found out that you had already stolen it."
