I’m not sure if it works the same though. I tried it before and I think you have to activate the accessibility mode first by making a fist two times or something like that. Maybe I’m misremembering. But yeah, I guess they’re limiting this to the new watch which doesn’t make much sense if they are already doing this on older models.
The only reason I can think of is that they need the additional power/efficiency to detect this with a small enough error rate.
USB C is definitely nice, but my gf would still have lightning and so would my AirPods, car charger, all cables around the house etc. It’ll be nice when that transition is over, but in the meantime it’s going to be more annoying than helpful.
Same. I’m due for a new phone with my three year cycle, but it feels like the updates are becoming less meaningful while being more expensive. I’ll most likely skip this one and maybe even the next one. But we’ll see how it goes.
The article itself says that a charger (which was already gone last year) is no longer included and staff should show customers where to find them. They should also let them know that "USB-C means the new devices cannot be charged with existing Lightning chargers".
If there’s actually no way for devs to disable apps on Vision Pro I think that’s great. I was hoping for a Netflix/Disney plus native App on Apple silicon Macs, but they are all disabled which is extremely frustrating.
