  • Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, and Daniel Craig as James Bond.

  • Yes, the depth of field and image quality the camera kit sensors and lenses produce sure can match those produced by full frame sensors and lenses. And fuck Canon's industry leading autofocus, OP can write their own autofocus algorithm too!

  • I've been following this on an ABC news podcast called Bad Rap. Their previous podcast on the Theranos case called The Dropout was excellent, and I highly recommend giving both of these a listen.

  • Well TBF, it was a loophole. Not surprised they patched it out.

  • Previously, a Switch designated as a primary console could load up a digital game and play online alongside the owner of that game logged in via a second Switch.

I'm under the impression that the old method is still available, so you could still use this "trick" to play the same copy on two devices.

There's a NintendoLife article detailing how to perform the loophole

However, there is a loophole that will let you play the same game on two Switches. To do so, head into the 'User' section of the System Settings and select your profile. Then, head down to Online License Settings and turn it on.
This allows you to play digital games whilst connected to the internet, even if the relevant Virtual Game Card is loaded onto another system.

  • That's interesting! Thanks for the reply!

  • Are there any music pieces that are your favorite because of synesthesia? Or pieces that you couldn't enjoy because of it?
I'd also imagine that watching movies must be a very different experience for you too haha.

  • Putting tariffs on Norfolk Island and Heard and McDonald Islands are particularly funny considering Heard and McDonald Islands only has penguins living there lol.

  • Taiwan always had pretty good relations with Japan. It's the Trump situation that threw everything in the air. People here for whatever reason can be extreme as if you're not pro-trump, you're pro-china. They actively say that any messages that are anti-trump or anti-america, reasonable or not, are lies of the ccp. Which is insane.

I do not want China to annex my hometown, but I also do not like how trump is going about it, alienating allies and all. It's like having to choose between two evils, because if not the US, who can we rely on to back us up in military? If we want to survive under trump, we have to play by his rule. He does not have a lick of respect for other countries' sovereignty, as shown with Canada and Greenland, and I hate that we have no choice but to endure that.

  • Speaking as a Taiwanese, I fucking hate this situation we're stuck in.

  • There shouldn't have been a poll in the first place

    • Red Flags Pod: F1 Podcast with sister show Vankah Hours starring Gunther Steiner as a third co-host.
    • Hyperfixed: Show where Alex Goldman tries to solve a problem an audience sent in, no matter what the topic is.
  • It would, but it also probably would be a bad idea to do so. How many people would come back for a part 2 of a documentary film? I think not a lot.

  • Not necessarily hate, but did not like as much as the rest of the internet: Oppenheimer

The moment I left the theater, I thought it should have been longer. Yes, I think an already 3hr film should be even longer. Just torture the audience at this point. But I thought that there was just so much stuff to cram into that 3hr length, there was not enough room for the story to breath, even if those stories were needed to paint a better picture of Oppenheimer's life, morals, and conflicts.

I'd still recommend it to people. If anything, it's still a visually well directed film. But if you aren't a physics/history buff, you might not enjoy the story as much.

In my opinion, a better history based movie would be The Imitation Game. Much more focused story, even if some aren't historically accurate.

  • Outstanding visual is pretty packed this year, but I wish Nine Sols wins it. It's not even underrated, just feels like it wasn't talked much about outside of Hollow Knight enjoyers, maybe due to it launching on PC only (console version came out only recently), or perhaps due to the studio's turbulent past. More people should really give it a go.

  • From my understanding, they do have contractors bid for projects. Though, fair and transparent or not is another issue.

  • death penalty to greedy leaders of companies

With the notable exception of people in power. (Edit: They do get executed) Corruption is real bad there, there are plenty examples of people in gov positions being filthy rich and have kids who show off their erroneous spending on Douyin.
