  • I see no problem

  • The point is your first sentence?

  • I do love Avelon’s explore tab

  • I gave up and just use iOS’ native reminders app.. which is actually quite good.

  • Lesson I also learned when I started out with Linux… don’t fuck with grub unless you really understand what you’re doing! Borking grub is a right of passage imo.

I’m not sure how to fix your issue (I gave up on dual booting and just have windows in a virtual machine, so Windows doesn’t mess up grub).

I always keep backups of the working grub config in case I need to restore. Just boot into a version of Linux on a usb key and copy the working config.

  • Yeah they’re all in on snaps. Vote with your distro choice.

  • Because it’s…. Wait for it…. News. 🤯

  • Probably wasn’t private. You likely needed a company telegraph operator to send the message.

  • Just create an entry and at the bottom setup one time password OTP

Then scan a QR code or enter manually.

Then click the clock to the right of your entry to get the 6 digit code.

  • Same. I pair it with KeePassium on iOS.

  • I love my Thinkpad.

Lots of Linux devs love their Thinkpads.

The result is that Thinkpads are very well supported. They’re also generally very well made so I hope to use it for a decade.

  • I use it instead of the jump button. Same reason, jump to the next comment.

I like it better because I can jump to comments to different levels. I can also do it when only holding my phone in my left hand.

  • I just use KeePassium with a keepass database (with just totp in it).

I used to use Authy but I like to control my own data.

  • To be honest it seems that development has stalled a bit lately.

I think they’re working towards a larger 1.0 release. Fixing up things because the fast development introduced a lot of bugs.

  • I just bought one off an Etsy seller instead. Great quality and very happy with it.

  • While I agree, definitely you need Flatseal to change permissions at times.

  • Yep virtual box works fine on Linux. But windows in a virtual machine if you really need something lie office.
