I think calc is fine for a lot of use cases. I use it all the time. It is different though.For advanced stuff I’d rather use Python anyway to be honest.
It’s too bad Linux isn’t more normalized. For those very simple users (and for the more sophisticated) Linux is probably much better than Windows at this point.No ads, free software, updates can be very simple and stable, less security issues.
I’ve had the Baratza Encore for years. Great little machine. Highly recommend.I mostly use it for aeropress/drip coffee machine.My only issue is I get coffee grounds on the counter top a lot. :p
Very odd. The drivers are built into the kernel.Did you try to install the drivers right away? You shouldn’t have to.Edit: perhaps this thread is helpful.
My solution years ago when windows used to do this to me with a dual boot was to move windows to a virtual machine instead, which works great for me! Would recommend as much ram as possible though. I find performance great with 16gb of ram to share between host and the vm.Windows updates would often mess up boot prior to me switching. Very annoying.
