  • I think it’s nice for end users regardless. Very easy to tell the age of your install.

Especially when a project is fairly mature and not making breaking api changes regularly.

  • I like it just fine with the tabbed interface

  • This is just bad information.

It’s also on windows and yes it has more features like totp compared to keepass. It’s much more actively developed and has been audited.

  • Weird. Nvidia? I’ve never had a crash either

  • If you don’t use the built in mail app as default then it doesn’t work.

I have gmail as default and never worked on my phone.

I previously filed a big but the fix didn’t really fix the issue. I honestly don’t know what is happening with development of this app at this point.

  • I haven’t had much issue installing multiple.

The biggest problem I’ve had is if you then want to uninstall one. Usually have to start over.

Something like nixos might be able to handle that much better.

  • And you can put windows in a virtual machine for edge cases for most use cases. Use Linux for everything else.

  • I think that time has passed. Many distros default to wayland now.

Use Wayland unless you have issues.

  • Yes… processed on the cloud. Lol.

  • Have you tried the Libreoffice ribbon menu?

  • Sounds like you need a new pc…

  • I actually very much doubt wordpad has hurt office sales.

  • It shouldn’t be that strange. Linux nerds are a huge Lemmy demographic.

Much more up on new technology, FOSS, and privacy issues etc. than the general population. Good fit for Lemmy.

  • I mean, not many people are in the loving Microsoft camp. Tolerate maybe.

  • It’s not that bad and always improving. I inter operate the two every day.

    OpenOffice is a dead project.
